of this tournament is to uphold the value of sportsmanship as a sign of respect to
each other of the cajidiocanons, Likewise this is also organized to make them
physically and mentally fit and youth will developed their talents and skills in
sports.

notification that we would like to seek financial support from you for the prizes for

ACTIVITY DESIGN
Project Title: Conduct of “SPORT TOURNAMENT”

Date/Time: May 10-13, 2024
Venue: Alibagon Covered Court
I.RATIONALE:
INTER BARANGAY BASKETBALL, SEPAK TAKRAW, VOLLEYBALL

AND ML TOURNAMENT is an annual cultural event celebrating of sibuyanons
empowerment through sport. The event has evolved through time as it includes
other team from municipalities of Romblon from being exclusive only to
Cajidiocan and Sibuyan Island. This event is also part of the bigger celebration of
barangay Alibagon Caltural events that draws visitors, tourist and returning
residents from both local and international places.
This tournament has been temporarily suspended for 2 years due to the
global pandemic in compliance to government’s order on minimum health
protocol , social distancing with the declining covid infection in the municipality
and romblon as a whole,thus this sports does not pose health risk to the public
and therefore should be allowed to push through.
In addition, this event is guaranted to contribute to the local economy of

Barangay Alibagon as guest, visitors, tourist and returning residents are willing to
spend and enjoy the day full of fun, merry making and celebrating of unique skill
that happens only once a year.
II.OBJECTIVES:
1. To create economics activities benefiting local enterprises

and contributing to local economy.
2. To develop the importance of camaraderie, unity and
cooperation in a strong cultural dynamism through pageantry
and beauty competitions.
3. To aid participants and the public in taking care of their
mental and physical health by involvement in merrymaking.
III.ACTIVITY STRUCTURE:
