COLD STORAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Maruti Madav Mane*1, Mr. Praveen KS*2 *1Student Of Department Of MCA, East West Institute Of Technology, India. *2Assoc., Professor Of MCA, East West Institute Of Technology, India. Affiliated To VTU Uinversity, Belagavi. ABSTRACT A web application called "Cold Storage Management Systems" was created in Python Django and uses a Sqlite database. For the management of cold storage information, CSMS offers a simple and effective software solution. CSMS will undoubtedly assist in resolving the issue with commodity storage. In order to methodically record, store, and update recorded data, "Cold Storage Management Systems" are used. The manual information gathering process takes less time with CSMS, and the information is more accurate. It rapidly offers current information and improves client perception of your cold storage. Additionally, it reduces clumsy paperwork and transaction. I. INTRODUCTION Users now have complete control over cold storage areas thanks to the System for Cold Storage Management. It is a piece of software that is both practical and adaptable. A web server and database will be used in the background to check the availability of stores. It will also provide an intuitive interface for managing shop information. To create the "Cold Storage Management System," we employ the Python Django and Sqlite databases. The admin, use, and user modules each make up a separate portion of this project. II. PROBLEM STATEMENT The main goal of the CSMS is to decrease the amount of time people spend manually collecting information while simultaneously improving that information. It immediately provides current information and improves how your clients see your cold storage facility. Additionally, it reduces the volume of difficult-to-complete deals and paperwork. It will have an intuitive user interface that is simple to use and understand. It will save and retrieve data from a database and a web server in the background. This tool has a good appearance and can be used with the least amount of difficulty. straightforward and straightforward to use, it is. It's not at all difficult to read the source code. We conserve time and resources. III. TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY USED Python is a well-liked high-level programming language with a wide range of applications. Hypertext Markup Language, or HTML, is a set of markup symbols or codes that are added to a file to enable online viewing of that file. Cascading Style Sheets, sometimes known as CSS, are a set of guidelines used to describe and modify the appearance of online pages Websites are frequently created using the sort of computer language known as JavaScript. Netscape invented it in the beginning so that websites could include more moving and interactive elements. The platform for creating web applications known as Django was created in the language Python. The acronym MVT, or "Model View Template” IV. EXISTING SYSTEM To keep track of when they load and unload stock and to offer the fundamental services required for cold storage operations. All of these issues will be resolved once you apply the solution. The cold storage report has been current since the start of the fiscal year. It is essential for a business that offers the service to keep accurate records of all loading and unloading activities. The system then generates an exclusive SR Number and assigns it to these actions. Afterward, these arrangements are obtained by the Directorate of Agricultural Marketing. V. PROPOSED SYSTEM The main goal of the CSMS is to decrease the amount of time spent manually collecting data while simultaneously improving that data. It immediately provides current information and enhances clients' perceptions of your cold storage facility. Additionally, it reduces the volume of messy trades and papers. www.irjmets.com @International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering, Technology and Science [2342] e-ISSN: 2582-5208 International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science ( Peer-Reviewed, Open Access, Fully Refereed International Journal ) Volume:05/Issue:07/July-2023 Impact Factor- 7.868 www.irjmets.com It will have an intuitive user interface that is simple to use and understand. This tool has a good appearance and can be used with the least amount of difficulty. straightforward and straightforward to use, it is. It's not at all difficult to read the source code. By doing this, we save both time and money. VI. ARCHITECTURE WORKING MODEL Use case diagrams help system writers because they show how a system works and show what users expect from it. The stick figure is a stand-in for someone who is called an actress. The use case map is an excellent technique to gain insight into the system and find out more about who can do certain things and, more importantly, who can't. In a use case diagram, the use cases and players are linked together to show how the two groups work together. • The goal is to show how the actor and the use case connect with each other. • To say what the system needs to do from the user's point of view. • An actor could be the end user of the system or it could be a different system.
TYPES OF TESTING THAT CAN BE USED
Following are some of the testing methods that are generally followed a. Unit Testing: Unit testing should begin as soon as a unit has been produced and carefully examined. To examine one, we must supply a whole system. This means that in addition to the component being verified, b. Data Flow Testing: It appears that you are interested in data flow testing for a cold storage management system. Data flow testing is a software testing technique used to examine the flow of data within an application or system. In the context of a cold storage management system, this testing approach would focus on validating the movement of data through various components of the system, ensuring that information is correctly processed, stored, and retrieved as expected. c. Integration Testing: During Integration testing, we put together different sets of project modules to see how they respond when given different information. d. The main This project's objective is to test the module interfaces to make sure that calling one module from another module doesn't cause any problems. e. Big Bang Integration Testing: When using the Big Bang Integration Testing Strategy, all of the system's components are brought together at once to create a whole. It is challenging to pinpoint the locations of any www.irjmets.com @International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering, Technology and Science [2343] e-ISSN: 2582-5208 International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science ( Peer-Reviewed, Open Access, Fully Refereed International Journal ) Volume:05/Issue:07/July-2023 Impact Factor- 7.868 www.irjmets.com faults that were discovered when this testing method is applied. This is due to the fact that no one bothered to examine the links between the numerous unique components. f. User Interface testing: A product or piece of software is put through GUI testing to see whether it contains any problems. This kind of testing is known as user interface testing. VII. CONCLUSION Finding software defects and fixing them quickly is made simpler by using a bug tracking system. The project's bug tracking system (BTS) may be used to record faults in the project modules during testing and development and to assist with error troubleshooting. This project eliminates all potential reporting issues at every level and in any project module in the software industry. The price is significantly greater when the program is installed on a machine that belongs to the business. VIII. REFERENCES [1] Torky Sultan, Ayman E.
