ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Education is a journey through the universe. The universe is

enormous and seems to have no end. If a person wants to be truly

educated, he or she must spend years in school studying both

important and trivial information. A Master’s Degree is another step to

gain learning that will bring us to the best version of ourselves so

throughout the inconstancy of a physical home, education is my only

constant. Education dedicated its life to me and now I have chosen to

dedicate my life to education.

support, wisdom, and knowledge to explore different things, for the

guidance in helping us surpass all the challenges we've encountered,

and for giving us the determination to pursue this research study and

to make it possible, Alhamdulillah and shukor.

The result of this study would not come into its final form

ABSTRACT

ALIMUDIN, JOHAIRA A. 2024. “Job Satisfaction and Teaching

Practices of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language Teachers in
Datu Piang, Maguindanao Del Sur”. Master’s Thesis. Graduate
Studies. Gani L. Abpi College, Incorporated.

Adviser: BAIPINA M. BALUBUGAN, PhD

This study was directed toward determining the job satisfaction

and teaching practices of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language (ISAL)

teachers in public elementary schools in Datu Piang, Maguindanao

Del Sur. The respondents were limited to thirty-eight (38) ISAL

teachers.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive research

design was employed. A survey questionnaire was constructed,

validated, and used in acquiring data. The data were tallied, analyzed,

and interpreted using appropriate statistical tools such as weighted

mean, and frequency.

The results of the study revealed that the majority of the

respondents were 41 years old and above, and most of them were

males. More than half of them finished their Tarbiyah and almost all

of them were married. They were slightly motivated in both their jobs

as teachers.
