Part 1: Preparation

1. Check Hardware Compatibility

Before starting, ensure that your hardware is compatible with macOS. The best way to check
compatibility is to visit the Hackintosh compatibility website. Here are some general
guidelines:

• Processor: Intel processors are generally more compatible than AMD. Most Intel i3,
i5, i7, and i9 processors work well.
• Motherboard: Look for motherboards with UEFI support. Gigabyte and ASUS
motherboards are often recommended.
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA graphics cards up to the 900 series and most AMD Radeon
cards are supported.
• RAM: At least 4GB, but 8GB or more is recommended.
• Storage: An SSD is preferable for better performance.

2. Gather Necessary Tools

You will need the following tools:

• macOS Installer: You can download this from the App Store on a real Mac or find it
through various Hackintosh communities.
• UniBeast and MultiBeast: Tools from tonymacx86 to create a bootable USB and
post-installation configuration.
• USB Drive: At least 16GB.
• Clover Configurator: A tool to manage the Clover bootloader.
• Disk Utility: For formatting drives (built into macOS).

Part 2: Creating a Bootable macOS USB Drive

1. Access to a Mac

To create a macOS installer, you need access to a Mac. If you don't have one, consider
borrowing from a friend or using a Mac at a library or school.

2. Download macOS Installer

1. Open the App Store on the Mac.

2. Search for the macOS version you want to install (e.g., macOS Big Sur).
3. Click "Get" to download the installer. Once downloaded, it will be in the Applications
folder.

3. Format the USB Drive

1. Insert the USB drive into the Mac.

2. Open Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility).
3. Select the USB drive and click "Erase".
4. Choose the following settings:
o Name: macOS
o Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
o Scheme: GUID Partition Map
5. Click "Erase" to format the drive.

4. Use UniBeast to Create Bootable USB

1. Download UniBeast from the tonymacx86 website and install it.

2. Open UniBeast and follow these steps:
o Click "Continue" several times until you reach the "Select Destination" step.
o Select your formatted USB drive.
o Click "Continue" and select the macOS version you downloaded.
o Choose "UEFI Boot Mode".
o (Optional) Select your graphics card if necessary.
o Click "Continue" and then "Install".
3. Enter your password if prompted and let UniBeast create the bootable USB. This may
take some time.

Part 3: Configuring the BIOS

1. Access BIOS/UEFI Setup

1. Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup by pressing a key during boot
(usually Del, F2, or Esc).

2. Adjust Settings

Adjust the following settings in the BIOS:

• Set BIOS to Optimized Defaults.

• Disable VT-d (if your CPU supports it).
• Disable CSM.
• Enable XHCI Handoff.
• Set SATA Mode to AHCI.
• Disable Secure Boot.

Part 4: Installing macOS

1. Boot from USB Drive

1. Insert the UniBeast USB drive into your PC.

2. Restart the PC and press the boot key (usually F12, F11, or Esc) to select the boot
device.
3. Select the USB drive to boot from.

2. Install macOS

1. Once in the Clover bootloader, select "Boot macOS Install from macOS".
2. The macOS installer will launch. Choose your language and continue.
3. Open Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
4. Select your target drive (the one you want to install macOS on) and click "Erase".
5. Choose the following settings:
o Name: macOS
o Format: APFS
o Scheme: GUID Partition Map
6. Click "Erase" and close Disk Utility.
7. Continue with the installation by selecting the target drive and following the prompts.

3. Post-Installation with MultiBeast

1. Once the installation is complete, the system will reboot.

2. Boot from the USB drive again but this time select "Boot macOS from macOS".
3. Complete the macOS setup process.
4. Once on the desktop, open Safari and download MultiBeast from tonymacx86.
5. Open MultiBeast and configure the following:
o Quick Start: Select "UEFI Boot Mode".
o Drivers: Select necessary drivers for audio, network, and other hardware.
o Bootloaders: Ensure Clover UEFI Boot Mode is selected.
6. Click "Build" and then "Install".
7. Reboot your computer.

Part 5: Post-Installation Configuration

1. Install Clover Bootloader

1. Download Clover Configurator.

2. Mount the EFI partition of your macOS drive.
3. Copy the EFI folder from the USB drive to the EFI partition on your macOS drive.

2. Configure Clover

1. Open Clover Configurator and mount the EFI partition.

2. Open the config.plist file located in EFI/CLOVER.
3. Configure the necessary settings, such as SMBIOS, Boot Flags, and Kernel
Extensions.

3. Install Additional Kexts

1. Download necessary kexts (drivers) for your hardware from websites like Kexts.com.
2. Copy these kexts to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other.

Troubleshooting

1. Black Screen After Boot: Check your graphics card settings and ensure you're using
compatible kexts.
2. No Sound: Verify that the correct audio driver is installed and configured.
3. No Internet: Check that the appropriate network driver is installed and configured.
4. System Instability: Ensure all components are compatible and properly configured in
the BIOS.
