ABOUT LOKMAT:
Lokmat Times is Maharashtra ' s number 1 daily circulated paper. Printed in 3 different
languages-English, Marathi and Hindi.
The Lokmat Group of publications reaches out to over 23.6 million readers. Lokmat, our
flagship newspaper, is the second most read regional language daily newspaper in India with
over 20.4 million readers (TR. IRS 2019/Q1)
Lokmat connect is an initiative of Lokmat Times to inculcate social responsibilities by
providing a platform to women and children to enrich and update knowledge. There are 2
forums under its wings Sakhi Manch and Lokmat campus club. Lokmat Campus Club is the
learning platform for children of all age groups.

Lokmat Campus Club is Maharashtra ' s largest platform for children to interact, learn and
enrich themselves. Stepping into its 24th year we are proud to engage and involve children
through our activities. Lokmat Campus Club has been operative since the year 2000 with only
1000 members. The current membership stands at over 2 lakh students in association with
5000 teachers from 2000 schools, across 35 districts in Maharashtra. The membership is in
steady rise

Lokmat Campus Club is proud to organize it’ s maiden edition of MUN conference. The
conference aims to inculcate and promote the MUN culture in Chh. Sambhajinagar by
hosting a conference which is at par with the biggest conferences of Maharashtra. The
conference is highlighted by the presence of the most experienced executive board members
of the Maharashtra MUN circuit.

each one of you for the upcoming Campus Club Model United Nations (MUN) event
organized by Lokmat Times.

The essence of Model United Nations lies in its ability to simulate the complexities of global
diplomacy and provide a platform for passionate individuals like yourselves to engage in
meaningful discourse on pressing international issues. Through this event, we aim not only
to foster a deeper understanding of global affairs but also to cultivate critical thinking,
negotiation skills, and empathy among our participants.

inaugural Lokmat Campus Club Model United Nations Conference scheduled to take place
from the 21st to the 23rd of June 2024. This conference is marked for Campus Club Members
only.

With an impressive array of committees curated specifically for this occasion, we are poised
to make this MUN an unforgettable experience to the esteemed city of Chh. Sambhajinagar.
We have experienced Executive Board Members onboard to guide us, making sure everyone
gains valuable insights from two days of intense debate and policy discussions. Additionally,
a comprehensive training session is scheduled for the first day to equip participants with the
necessary skills and knowledge.
