OPERATION INSTRUCTION
1、Technical parameters

2、Descriptions
ROTHENZEHN butt fusion welding machine is consisted of basic frame, milling
cutter, heating plate, electric control part and intelligent temperature control system

3、Instruction for use


(1) Pre-boot preparation
Do the pre-boot preparation, is conducive to the normal operation of the machine and
pipe welding quality
1. First checking the entire part of the machine fasteners, fastening the loose part
2. Checking whether the power supply voltage meeting the requirements of the
machine, whether the power cord is damaged, and whether control box wire
connection is loose.
3. Checking whether the clamp inside the fixture is according with the specifications
of the welded pipe
(2) Power on and off
You must use a single-phase three-wire power supply with a ground wire
1. Checking the power, make sure that they are in the open (OFF) position, and then
plug the power into the AC (AVC): 220V power supply socket, close the total power
switch, the voltmeter shows 220V.
2. When the power is connected normally, open the heating switch, heating plate is
heating up. The temperature can be set by itself. Red light for the power indicator,
green light for the heating instructions, red light is always on after power connected,
the green light goes off after heating to the set temperature, the milling cutter is on
working standby state when insert the power supply.
(3) Pipe welding
Pipe welding can be divided into the following process:
A. pipe into the clamp; B. pipe milling and alignment;
C. pipe welding; D. quality inspection
1. Open the hexagonal nut on the clamp, then put the clamp
2. Put the pipe into moving clamp, make sure that two pipes have 40mm distance
3. Close the top clamp, tighten the hexagonal nut, make the moving clamp moves left
and right, and to check whether the two pipes is coaxial, adjust the end of pipe to
make sure it is coaxial by the hexagonal nut loose and tight
4. Put the milling cutter between the two pipes, use the hand wheel, so that both ends
are lightly against the milling cutter
5. Press the cutter motor to start the power switch, turn the hand wheel, so that the
pipe close to the cutter (don’t overload the motor), stop the milling cutter motor
power supply when two pipe ends have continuous cutting
6. Turn the hand wheel to separate the pipe cutter, turn out the cutter, and put two
pipe ends together to check whether it is coaxial (if it is not coaxial, please repeat the
third step, milling it again after alignment )
7. Put the heating plate which has reached the welding temperature between the two
pipes , turn the two axis.
8. When it reach standard state after heating, pull out the heating plate quickly, and
then turn the direction of the shaft to the forward position, so that two pipe ends is
docking, and locking pressure
9. Two tube is docking and achieving hot melt pressure, forming qualified welding,
then put hand on the rotating device, this time known as the welding time. In this state,
keep the weld to cool, time is: D (pipe diameter)
10. After the docking, the welding port should be checked, a qualified welding port
should be geometric size after docking the formation of the welding ring, and the
uniformity should meet the specification requirements

4、Equipment maintenance
For each function to keep the equipment in the process of using good working
condition, must keep equipment clean and lubricated timely, correct operation, is
conducive to the use and maintenance, can prolong the service life of the equipment.
1) The clamp
1. The rotation of the parts and the handle, the upper sleeve and the sliding part of
the shaft to keep clean, no dirt.
2. The shaft and the rotating part of the oil lubrication.
3. Often to clip tile, slot part decontamination.
2) The milling cutter
The milling cutter is provided with a blade which is fixed on the chain wheel and is
driven by a chain.
1. The use of the shaft with the part must be kept clean, remove excess oil and the
accumulation of dirt, and with 30# oil lubrication.
2. blade wear, need sharpening or replacement of new.
3) Electric control part
It is prohibited to be used in a combustible gas environment, to prevent the electric
control part from being exposed to the rain or in the environment of corrosive
medium.
1. Prevent debris and dust into the control box, regular removal of equipment surface
and internal dust and impurities.
2. After use, the various parts of the power supply to cut off, keep the wire intact.
4) The heating plate
The heating plate temperature is suitable for the requirements of the pipe, otherwise it
will produce a bad effect.
1. The heating plate with heating elements and sensor components, no collision.
2. The heating plate surface with non stick coating, to prevent the coating touch, cut.
3. After each welding, must use cotton cloth to clean up the residue.
4. The heating plate on each part of the bolt should be tightened, not loose.
5. The heating plate will not be allowed reactive heating for long time.

5、Failure analysis of mechanical and electrical parts


1. The pipe butt is not concentric.
(1) Check that the clamp is installed correctly.
(2) Check the tightening of the handle.
(3) Check whether the size of the two pipe is uniform, whether the pipe wall is
uniform.
(4) Check the milling cutter is normal.
2. The milling cutter can not work
(1) Check whether the edge of the contact tube.
(2) Check whether the cutterhead is rotating normally.
(3) Check whether the cutter body slides on the shaft.
(4) Check whether the blade is sharp.
(5) Check the suitability of milling.

Note: The grid voltage or too low will cause equipment damage
