Design of Rainfall Intensity

The design of the rainfall intensity will be based on The Hydrological Procedure (HP26)
–Estimation of Design Rainstorm in Sabah and Sarawak (Department of Irrigation and
Drainage Malaysia, 2018)
Derived IDF parameter: (Table 4.2)

Rainfall Intensity,

Where,
I = Average rainfall intensity (mm/hr)
T= Average recurrence interval (year) , high ARI = 2 ≤ T ≤ 100
d= Storm duration (hours), 5 minutes to 72 hours
λ,, κ,, Ѳ,, ɳ = Fitting
