principal’s Message
As the festival of lights- Diwali is round the corner, let‟s take an oath to celebrate it in a
Green way- „Avoid Crackers, Celebrate Nature‟. Why not think about smart ways by
using E-Crackers, Virtual crackers to help reduce air and noise pollution.
In order to keep this festivity filled with happiness, it is important to celebrate Diwali
with proper safety precautions. Ensure children burn crackers under supervision and in
open spaces. Please keep bucket filled with water or sand handy in case of fire. Let‟s try
to make Deepavali safe and harmonious for over selves and everyone around.
Wishing you a very Happy and Prosperous Diwali.
God Bless!

Mr MadhavKulkarni. He was very supportive and deligated the ceremony by handing
over the sashes and flags to the gracefully marching assembly of the student council.
The student council was lead by head boy, Parth Shah and head girl, Sana Golecha. They
took charge of the council when Parth Shah commanded them symbolising his authority
and accountability for the tasks that he has to bear from that day onwards.
This was followed by the proud parents of the student council clipping the respective
badges to their wards „shirts, giving the permission to the children to perform their
obligations.
Head boy then commanded the council to get ready for the oath taking ceremony
conducted by our Principal Ma‟am Alka Murthy followed by the students marching
graciously to their corresponding positions, after which Mr Kulkarni gave a very
encouraging and inspiring speech. The National Anthem and School song marked the end

A Scary Night
Usually I sleep alone in my bedroom. One night after finishing my daily routine, I was on
my bed. I started reading my story book. It was a horror story. I like reading such stories.
Generally I don't feel afraid, but that day I was feeling very uneasy. Once I felt like going
out with my parents, but then I thought it was too late to disturb them. Then I thought to
go to my grandparents but they had gone out for dinner. I started to get tired of
uneasiness, but to my hard luck, there was a power failure and everything went dark. I
was terribly frightened. The windows of my room were open, and the cool breeze blowing
through them was making the curtains fly high.
I had a bright idea in the darkness. I somehow managed to reach the washroom and
found a big bath towel. Gathering courage, I took the towel and rushed towards the figure
and covered his head with it. Then I screamed loudly, this time making sure the voice
came out loud. At the same time, the lights turned out and to my astonishment I saw that
the scary figure was only a soft toy! The strong breeze was making it move! I was sure
my little sister must have kept it after playing. I was unaware of it and misunderstood
everything. Suddenly, I started laughing loudly. I heard the key turn in the door locked
and my parents entered the room and saw me laughing. I narrated the entire incident to
them. They gave me a big hug and started laughing too. Tears ran down my mother‟s
eyes. I cried too! That night my mother slept with me in my room. I had never felt more
safe and comfortable before!
