    TECHNICAL DATA SHEET FOR

    ROAD LINE PAINT

    DESCRIPTION : It is a tough, fast-drying and weather-durable coating formulated to


    withstand wear for road and floor marking

    TYPE : Modified chlorinated rubber resin with thermoplastic property

    COLOUR : White, Yellow, Red and Black

    FINISH : Matt

    USES : For coating on


     Concrete Floor
     Asphalt
     Plastered Wall

    FEATURES :  Excellent eye visibility


     Hard and abrasive resistant
     Very fast drying
     Weather resistant

    APPLICATION DATA

    METHOD : Roller, brush and air and airless spray

    THEORETICAL COVERAGE : 10 m2 / litre (based on 40 microns DFT per coat)

    DILUTION : Use Road Line Paint Reducer


    Brush - 10% max
    Roller - 10% max
    Air Spray - 10%-20%
    Airless Spray - 0%-5%

    SURFACE PREPARATION : Ensure surface is clean, dry and stable using the following suggested
    surface treatments:

     Moisture :There must not be any water residue on the surface of


    the substrate. Moisture must be <4% (Sovereign moisture master)
    before application

     Unstable matter :Remove loose bonding film, dirt, peeling paint,


    etc by high-pressure water jet wash or mechanical means such as
    power brush or scraper, whichever is suitable

     Contaminants :Remove dust and foreign matter by cleaning with


    damp cloth. Remove oil or grease using solvent or mild detergent.
    Allow surface to dry

     Fungus and Algae :Wash the affected area to remove unstable
    matters and micro-organisms. Apply Anti-Fungus Solution and leave
    on for at least 2 hours

     Hairline cracks :Fill cracks with suitable exterior grade water-


    resistant putty or filler

    DRYING TIME : Touch Dry - 5 mins at 30o C

    OVERCOATING TIME : 1 hour based on normal condition

    RECOMMENDED PAINTING : Two coats with minimum dry film thickness of 40 microns each for
    SYSTEM optimum performance.

    SPRAY APPLICATION : Air Airless

    Tip size 60o angle 1.3mm 0.017”
    Dilution 10-20% 0-5%

    CLEANING : All equipment should be cleaned with Road Line Paint Reducer.

    GENERAL INFORMATION

    CONFORMITY : Road Line Paint (White, Yellow & Red) is certified under TÜV SÜD PSB
    Product Listing Scheme to SS221:2002

    SOLID CONTENT : 62 ± 2% by weight (based on white)

    SPECIFIC GRAVITY : 1.33 ± 3% kg/litre (based on white)

    FLASH POINT : 7 oC (for White, Yellow & Red)


    23 oC (for Black)

    PACKING : 5 litres

    STORAGE : Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place

    SHELF LIFE : Up to 24 months in a tightly sealed container

    PRECAUTION : Contain volatile solvents, keep away from naked flame.
