ORGANIC FARMING
 A Form Of Agriculture That Relies On Techniques Such As Crop Rotation, Green
Manure, Compost And Biological Pest Control.

 It Strictly Avoid Uses On Synthetic Fertilizer Or Pesticide, Instead Use Organic

Products Such As: FYM, Vermicompost, Neem Seed Extract.

 Also known as chemical free farming

 Giving High Level Of Food Quality, Environmental Benefits And Safety Of

Human And Earth.

Yield:
•Green gram: 18 kg
•Baby corn: 10kg
Gross Return:
Green Gram= 18 x 200 = Rs 3600 (Rs. 200/kg)
Baby Corn= 10 x 250 = Rs 2500 (Rs. 250/kg)
TGR = Rs. 3600 + Rs. 2500 = Rs. 6100
Net return = Gross return – Total cost of cultivation
= Rs. 6100- Rs. 1884 = Rs. 4216
Benefit cost ratio:
B:C = Rs 4216/Rs 1884 = 2.24

B:C = 2.24

CONCLUSION

From the outcomes of organic farming, I've learned that it offers

sustainable solutions to agriculture. The method prioritizes
environmental health, promoting biodiversity, soil fertility, and water
conservation. Organic practices contribute to healthier produce by
avoiding synthetic pesticides and emphasizing natural processes.
While facing challenges such as lower yields and higher production
costs, the growing consumer demand for organic products highlights a
shift towards eco-friendly and ethical choices. Overall, organic
farming underscores the importance of balance between tradition and
innovation for a resilient, environmentally conscious, and
economically viable agricultural future.
