    EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 44 - 2024

    “AN EXECUTIVE ORDER CREATING THE MUNICIPAL REVIEW TEAM (MRT) OF THE MUNICIPALITY
    OF DINAS, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR DEFINING ITS DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES”

    WHEREAS, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Memorandum Circular
    No. 147, s. 2017 dated December 1, 2017 as amended by NDRRMC Memorandum Circular No. 13, s.
    2018 provides for the composition of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan Review Team
    at the provincial and the local level;

    WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP) shall be reviewed by
    the appropriate reviewing authority consistent with RA 10121;

    WHEREAS, there is a need to create and organize the Municipal Review Team to ensure that the
    Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP) in review is align with the Local
    Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (LDRRMP) and other higher DRRM Plans;

    THEREFORE, premises considered and by virtue of the power vested in me under the laws of the Republic
    of the Philippines, I, ELEAZER Y. ASOY, Municipal Mayor of the Municipality of Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur
    do hereby order the following:

    SECTION 1. PURPOSE. The executive order hereby creates the Municipal Review Team to ensure;

    SECTION 2. COMPOSITION. The Municipal Review Team shall be composed of the following:

    Team Leader: MS. SHEILA B. DOMINGO - LDRRMO


    Assistant Team Leader: MR. FRANCISCO I. CORPUZ, JR- MPDC
    Members: EMELYN O. MAULANA - LDRRMO Research & Planning
    JAY P. GEMENTIZA - Draftsman III

    SECTION 3. DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OGF THE MUNICIPAL REVIEW TEAM.
    The Municipal Review Team shall exercise the following duties, functions and responsibilities, to wit:

    1. MRT members shall familiarize themselves with the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and
    Management Plan (LDRRMP) review form for the monitoring and evaluation of the Local Disaster
    Risk Reduction and Management Plan (LDRRMP);
    2. MRT shall ensure that the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP) in
    review is align with the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (LDRRMP) and other
    higher DRRM Plans;
    3. MRT members shall evaluate whether the DRRM-CCA programs, projects, activities in the
    Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan are appropriate to the hazard of the LGU

    and ensure that the Sangguniang-approved Annual Investment Plan (AIP) for DRR-CCA of the
    LGU is consistent with the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan;
    4. Issuance Certification in favour of the concerned barangay after the criteria of the LDRRMP review
    have been complied;

    SECTION 3. REPEALIN CLAUSE. All related issuances inconsistent herewith are suspended by this order,
    and/or modified accordingly.

    SECTION 4. EFFECTIVITY. This Execeutive Order shall take effect immmediately upon its signing, and it
    shall remain in full force effect unless repealed, revoked, or amended accordingly.
