RESOLUTION no._22

“RESOLUTION APPROVING/ADOPTING THE THREE (3) YEAR BARANGAY DISASTER RISK

REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT (BDRRM) PLAN FOR THE YEAR 2021-2024 OF BARANGAY UBONG,
SOLANA, CAGAYAN.”

WHEREAS; the enactment of Reppublic Act 10121 otherwise known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and
Manaagement Act of 2010 is the basis in programming Disaster Preparedness and Response to Disaster Risk Reduction and
Mangement (DRRM);

WHEREAS, Section 106 of the Local Government Unit states that the Barangay Local Goverment Unit shall have
comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan to be initiated by its development council and approved by it’s Sanggunian;

WHEREAS, it is the continuous effort of the Barangay Development Council to institutionalize measures
in reducing disaster risks in the barangay during a calamity;

WHEREAS, the barangay serves as the first responders during any disaster;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Risk Reduction and Management Plan outlines the programs, projects and activities strengthening the
capacity of the barangay/community it its endeavor to become resilient in any disaster/calamity;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all the Barangay Council present;

BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Barangay members in a session duly assembled to
adopt the three (3) year Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan;

RESOLVED FURTHER,to furnish a copy of this resolution to the Municipal Project and Development Office and other
concerned offices for their information and reference.

“RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING FOR THE ADOPTION/APPROVAL OF THE THREE (3) YEAR

BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT (BDRRM) PLAN OF BARANGAY
UBONG , SOLANA CAGAYAN FOR THE YEAR 2022-2024”.
WHEREAS, the provisions of the Republic Act No. 10121, otherwise known as the “Philippine Disaster
Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010” was enacted to strengthen the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction
System which provides for the development, policies and plans and implementation of actions and measures
concerning all aspects of disaster risk reduction and management, including good governance, risk assessment, early
warning, knowledge -building, awareness raising, reducing underlying risk factors and preparedness for effective
response and early recovery;

WHEREAS, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan of the Barangay outlines the
Programs, Projects and Activities, strengthening the capacity of the barangay/community together with partner
stakeholders to institutionalize measures in reducing disaster risks;

WHEREAS, the barangay as first responders during any disaster is capacitated with measures to
combat risks, making the barangay resilient;

THEREFORE, on motion of all the members present during the council meeting beit;

RESOLVED,AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to recommend the adaption and approval of the

Barangay Disater Risk Reduction and Management Plan as endorsed by the Barangay Development Council

RESOLUTION NO. 24 -2021

RESOLUTION ADOPTING APPROVING BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL RESOLUTION
NO.24 SERIES OF 2021 RE: “RESOLUTION OF THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
RECOMMENDING FOR THE ADOPTION/APPROVAL OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF
BARANGAY UBONG, SOLANA, CAGAYAN TO THE DIFFERENT PROPOSED PRIORITY ALIGNED
PROGRAMS, PLANNING AND ACTIVITIES (PPAs) UNDER THE BDRRM PLAN CY 2022-2024

WHEREAS, Section 114 (a) of Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that the
policies, programs and projects proposed by the Local Development Council shall be submitted to the Sanggunian for their
appropriate action.

WHEREAS, the CBDRRM Plan contains specific programs and activities to be developed and implemented in the community;

WHEREAS, The Punong Barangay Hon. DANILO S. MANLAPIG endorsed to the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay
UBONG, Solana, Cagayan, BDC Resolution No. 24 series of 2021;

NOW THEREFORE on motion of all the member present be it;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Barangay in a session duly assembled to adopt and approve
Barangay Development Council Resolution No.24 Series Of 2021 Re: “Resolution of the Barangay Development Council
Recommending for the Adoption/Approval of The Sangguniang Barangay of BarangayUbong, Solana, Cagayan to the Different
Proposed Priority Aligned Programs, Planning And Activities (PPAs) under the BDRRM Plan Cy 2022-2024

RESOLVED THEREFORE that copies of this resolution be forwarded to the Municipal Planning and Development Office,
Municipal Local Government Operation Office and Office of the Municipal Mayor for their information and appropriate action
and guidance thereon.

ADOPTED this 8th day of july, 2021 at ubong, Solana, Cagayan.
