RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL RESOLUTION

PRIORITIZING PROGRAMS, PROJECTS, AND ACTIVITIES FOR INVESTMENT PLAN
TO BE FUNDED OUT OF THE 20% DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR CY 2019 EQUIVALENT
TO THREE HUNDRED NINETY ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY SEVEN &
40/100 PESOS (P391,997.40);

WHEREAS, the Local Government Code states that every LGU shall have comprehensive
multi-sectoral Investment Plan to be initiated by the Local Development Council and approved by the
Sangguniang Barangay;

WHEREAS, in the implementation of the social reform agenda, the improvement of the
quality of life of every LGU by providing basic services;

WHEREAS, after review of the past and present development efforts, this body approved that
the following priority projects, programs and activities shall be funded from 20% Local Government
Code Calendar Year 2019, to wit:

 NOW THEREFORE,:

Be It resolved as it is hereby resolved by this body in session that on motion duly seconded to
provide for expenditures out of the 20% Barangay Development Fund CY 2019 for the
implementation of the above enumerated projects/programs and activities.

RESOLVED FURTHER to forward copies of these resolutions to the Sangguniang Barangay

for their appraisal, review and approval.

HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY SEVEN & 22/100
PESOS (P1,998,757.22);

WHEREAS, presented before this body for Legislative review and approval of the Annual
Investment Plan of Barangay SINAPANGAN SUR, Balaoan, La Union for Calendar Year 2019 in the
amount of ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT THOUSAND SEVEN
HUNDRED FIFTY SEVEN & 22/100 PESOS (P1,998,757.22);

WHEREAS, approval of aforesaid Investment Plan shall enable the incumbent Sangguniang
Barangay Administration to pursue its commitment of services to the barangay;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of BDC Member Melita E. Nebres duly seconded by BDC
Member Marlie O. Ordinario in session assembled;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to approve this Annual Investment Plan of Barangay

SINAPANGAN SUR, Balaoan, La Union for Calendar Year 2019 for various purposes indicated
herein.

RESOLUTION UTILIZING THE 10% SK FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED

NINETY NINE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT & 70/100 PESOS
(P199,898.70) FOR THE INTER BARANGAY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT:

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Sinapangan Sur, unanimously approved

the allocation of a portion of the 10% SK FUND;

WHEREAS, the above mentioned basketball tournament serves as an excellent venue for the
physical & social development of the youth;

WHEREAS, upon consultation with the SK Officers & Members, the 10% SK Fund could be
used to finance the participation of the barangay in the tournament.

THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, be it:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to allocate a portion of the ONE HUNDRED NINETY

NINE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT & 70/100 PESOS (P199,898.70) for
the 10% SK Fund.

WHEREAS, presented for consideration of the Body is the copy of the Annual Barangay Disaster
Risk Reduction Management Plan of Barangay Sinapangan Sur, Balaoan, La Union covering CY
2019;

WHEREAS, after thorough review, this Body considers the Plan as attainable and responsive to the
climatic situation and current conditions in the barangay;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, Be it:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to Adopt the Annual (CY 2019) Barangay Disaster Risk
Reduction Management Plan (BDRRMP) of Barangay Sinapangan Sur, Balaoan, La Union.
