ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. TITLE : FAMILY DAY CELEBRATION FOR BARANGAY COUNCIL FOR

WOMEN
II. BACKGROUND & RATIONALE:
Family Day is a yearly activity for the Barangay Council for Women. To
gather and meet each other. All kinds of competitions and activities will be held during the
event. Family Day works with organization across the country to educate parents about
how everyday activities, like sharing a meal. Playing a game, or asking about their day, can
make a difference in the life of a child. With the support of community leaders like
Barangay Council for Women Organization. These activity create strong, healthy
relationships that can prevent future drug use.
III. OBJECTIVES :
1. To be able on how to care their family

2. To encourage/teach their childen on how to protect themselves
3. To show the knowledge and strenght by the individual parents
4. To aware the exploitation
5. To provide fun, social day for members
IV. DATE AND VENUE:

Date : September 21, 2019 8:00-5:00 pm
Location : Davao City
Participants : 20 BCW Officers

40 Women’s/Mother
60 Participants
V. METHODOLOGY :
The activity will be conducted through lecture discussion and visual aid facilitated
by the Barangay Council for Women Oficers of this Barangay.
VI. FUNDING REQUIREMENTS
A. Source : General Fund Annual Budget 2019

GAD Project/Training Expenses
B. Expendetures:
Fifteen Thousand Pesos (P15,000.00)

Breakdown:
Meal and snacks @ P 215 x 60 pax P 12,900.00

(1 meal, am/pm snacks)
Materials (Tarpaulin) = 300.00
Transportation: 60 pax x P30 = 1,800.00
Total P 15,000.00
VII. EXPECTED OUTPUT:
Family Day Celebrates simple, everyday things parents do to connect with their kids.
These activities create strong, healthy relationship that can prevent future drug use.

A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND (PHP

15,000.00) PESOS CHARGEABLE AGAINST GAD PROJECT CY 2019 UNDER TRAINING
EXPENSES FOR THE CONDUCT OF FAMILY DAY CELEBRATION THE BARANGAY
COUNCIL FOR WOMEN OF BARANGAY LEON GARCIA SR., AGDAO DISTRICT, DAVAO
CITY.
WHEREAS, as per deliberation and discussion by the Honorable Members of the Council
hereby agreed and approved the withdrawal of funds for the conduct of Family Day
Celebration for the Barangay Council for Womens on September 21, 2019 amounting to
Fifteen Thousand (Php 15,000.00) Pesos Only, chargeable against GAD Project, CY- 2019
under Training Expenses;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Mauro R. Ignacio and duly seconded by

Kagawad Joel B. Crisanto, it was;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, A RESOLUTION APPROVING FOR THE

CONDUCT OF THE FAMILY DAY CELEBRATION OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL FOR
WOMEN AND THE WITHDRAWAL OF THE APPROPRIATE FUND ON SEPTEMBER 21,
2019 AMOUNTING TO FIFTEEN THOUSAND (PHP 15,000.00) PESOS ONLY,
CHARGEABLE AGAINST GAD PROJECT, CY-2019-UNDER TRAINING EXPENSES-WHICH
CERTIFIED AVAILABLE BY THE BARANGAY TREASURER, IN THIS BARANGAY
RESOLVED FINALLY, copies of this resolution is submitted to all government

agencies/offices for their information and approval.
