37. Find the present value of a sequence of equal annual payments of 6000/- each, the
first being made at the en of 5 years and the last at the end of 12 years, if money is
worth 6% p.a. effective.
38. The first payment of a deferred annuity is made after 3 years and last at the end of
10 years. The payments of each time is 900/-. If the rate of interest is 6% p.a.
compounded annually, find its present value.
39. A man borrowed some money to repay in three equal annual installments of
9261/- each at 8% p.a. compound interest. Find out what sum of money had he
borrowed.
