Meets Expectations
The site provokes some interest and interactivity. The design is clear but over/underwhelming. There are a few errors in mechanics and/or APA style formatting which require minor editing and revision. The technical competence of the creator is evident through: *adequate intuitive navigation *most links (internal and external) work *some visual impact *some use of multimedia Selected metaphor is unclear or clich. Efforts to link to the metaphor are attempted but may feel forced. Some connections are made between selected artefacts, learning, the courses and research. Selection of artefacts demonstrates some integration and reflection. Evidence of reflection is present and demonstrates some development of the learning. There is some synthesis of the various courses with each other, the metaphor and research. Some evidence of peer-instructor feedback exists in artefacts and the eP itself. Some evidence of making connections to research, educational theory, professional practice and personal relevance are made. The creator demonstrates some personal growth through these connections.

The focus of the eP is clear. The intuitive design of the eP immediately engages the interest of the viewer. The design has considered the varied audiences and has built in affordances for interactive use. The design is clear, creative and dynamic. There are no mechanical (grammar, spelling and syntax) or APA errors. Language selection is thoughtful.
The advanced technical competence of the creator is evident through: *intuitive navigation and content is clear & comprehensive *working links (internal and external) *professional design for visual impact & ease of use *variety of multimedia (embedded and linked externally)

Metaphor is not used or causes more confusion than provides clarity. Few connections are made between the learning, the courses, the artefacts and research.
The metaphor is explicit, meaningful, original and demonstrates a personal connection to the creator. The selection of artefacts, learning and research are explained, linked to the metaphor and reflected upon. The diverse artefacts are used to demonstrate meaningful relationships where the various works enhance the appreciation of themes that traverse the courses and connect to the metaphor explicitly.
Considerable evidence of reflection is evident and interwoven throughout the eP. Reflection is personal, meaningful and clearly articulates the progression in learning. The evolving understanding is made explicit through synthesis of all the courses, the co-construction within those courses, artefact selection/explanation and the ongoing connection to the metaphor. Clear evidence of peer and instructor feedback which has been used to increase the quality of the eP. Evidence of co-construction in artefacts is clear. The viewer can see the synthesis of this feedback/collaboration and where there are links to external sites they are explained. The design of the eP demonstrates that the creator is aware of current research and/or participates in action research. Knowledge of relevant educational theories is verified through links to practice. The metaphor is used as a reflective tool to make connections between this knowledge of research, the ETEC courses and personal practice and demonstrate significant personal growth and learning. The eP could clearly be of use to the creator in the future.
