About FoSTaC Programme


• Objective: To instil a culture of continuous learning and
improvement within the food sector.

• It is a flagship initiative of FSSAI designed to impart training to


food handlers involved in the food business.
• Participants who successfully complete the training will be
conferred with the Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certificate.
• In FY 2023-24, a total of 3,58,224 food handlers have been
trained under it across the country.
• Recently, the FSSAI has extended FoSTaC training in canteens of
all State/UT Bhawans and government offices located in the
National Capital.

About Citizen Corner


• It is a one-stop solution with an easy interface to provide real-
time details on water quality of a village and all other water
supply information.

• It is step towards transparency and accountability in water


management as it allows people to raise concerns about water
quality through an online complaint form or a toll-free number
provided by States/ UTs.

• It will enable and empower citizens to manage water quality


and help them locate the nearest water testing laboratory for
quality test.
