November 2011 Batch. Aptitude Test & Interview is likely to be conducted across India in
July 2011.
Probationary OIIicer Programme is an initiative by ICICI Bank to attract bright graduate
students to pursue a career in banking. It is designed to develop specialists with banking
knowledge and skills to partially IulIill the Iuture need oI trained bankers .
Those selected will undergo a one year intensive residential classroom training and internship
in the Iollowing areas:
O Corporate Banking
O Private Banking
O Risk and Credit Management
O Treasury
O Branch Management
O Relationship Management
The training will be held in Bangalore or any other location in India as decided by ICICI
Bank. During the training, a stipend will be given to candidates to meet out oI pocket
expenses. On successIul completion oI the program they will be absorbed as Assistant
Manager.
Eligibility Criteria Ior Test:
O Completed graduation with 55 (Aggregate) in any discipline.
O &p to 25 years oI age as on November 01,2011 (should have been born on or aIter
November 01,1986).
O Ensure you select your **PreIerred Interview Location.
Last date oI registration 1une 27 , 2011.
What is the selection procedure?
The selection will be through a multi stage selection process comprising oI:
O Aptitude Test
O roup Process
O ProIiling
O Interview
Who can apply?
Selection Process Applicants will be shortlisted on merit and will be invited Ior the selection
process. Shortlisted applicants will have go through the below mentioned selection stages :
Eligibility Criteria
Working proIessionals who are CAs / Engineers / raduates in any discipline(s). cademic
qualifications - raduates Irom engineering, IT, Iinance, economics, law, commerce,
statistics etc / Chartered Accountants / ProIessionals with varied work experience (including
shop Iloor proIessionals). Professional experience - PreIerable work experience in industries
like manuIacturing |pharmaceuticals, steel, oil, gas and petroleum, etc.|, inIrastructure,
aviation, soItware, power, telecom and Iinance. Minimum 60 in raduation / 12th / 10th.
Work Experience aIter graduation- Minimum oI 3 Years (Full time experience). Age -
Applicants should not exceed 30 years oI age (as on 15th pril, 2012).
ntrance test - The entrance test aims at measuring the aptitude oI the applicants through
verbal ability, numerical ability and logical reasoning.
Group discussion stage- Applicants clearing the aptitude test will be invited Ior group
discussion. Based on case studies, the group discussions are mainly conducted to judge
applicants on their analytical thinking, approach adapted to hypothetical business
situations and the ability to break down complex problems to arrive at simple solutions.
Psychometric Profiling / Personal Interview - Applicant clearing D stage will be
eligible Ior the Personal Interview Stage.
Psychometric Profiling - This is a questionnaire based psychometric tool that assesses
the typical or preIerred behaviour oI individuals in work settings. Applicants are
required to complete the questionnaire beIore they appear Ior the interview. This tool
gives us a better understanding oI preIerred behaviour oI the applicant and is not used
Ior elimination oI applicants.
Personal Interview - Shortlisted applicants will go through the personal interview
round. This is the Iinal step in the selection process.
