1. APPLICATION
What is the last date of submission of application form?
Applications open on November 15, 2009. The last date for receiving completed application
form is February 1, 2010 by 5 PM. Online submission is not allowed. Application form fee is
Rs. 1000/- (Rs One thousands only) / (USD 40) (USD Forty only) through a demand draft in
favour of IIM Lucknow - Noida Campus, payable at Noida.
Duly filled-in application form along with application fee of Rs 1000/- (USD 40)
GMAT score obtained from February 1, 2007 to January 31, 2010

The candidates short-listed by IIML will have to request their all universities attended, to
submit official transcripts showing courses and grades for each year of their studies as
well as confirmation of degrees directly to IPFX Admission Office, Indian Institute of
Management Lucknow, Noida.
The short-listed candidates will apply on-line to McGill University, Canada with a non-
refundable fee of Canadian $100/- by April 15, 2010 (Visa or Master Card).
You can ask a client, supplier or professional colleague with whom you have had a
professional relationship, to be your recommender.
Yes. Each recommendation letter must be sent in a sealed envelope with the recommender's
signature across the seal.
I would not like to disclose my intention of applying for a full time course to my
immediate line manager. Who else can be my recommender?
In such a situation you can accept a recommendation from a former line manager/supervisor.
Additionally we will accept a recommendation from a customer, supplier or professional
colleague with whom you have a professional relationship.

Is GMAT compulsory?
Yes. We do not accept any other tests such as CAT/ MAT etc.
We do not specify a minimum GMAT score. GMAT score is among other criteria such as
personal interview, professional experience, leadership role.
What are the total numbers of seat available for IPFX 2010-2011?
The total number of seats available for IPFX / MMF 2010-2011 is 50 (Fifty).
You need to submit the GMAT score card along with the application form. You should also
inform GMAC. Our code is J39-VT-55. The official GMAT reports are to be sent directly to
IPFX Admission Office, IIM Lucknow, Noida by GMAC.
When will I know if I have been finally selected for IPFX 2010-2011?
In case you have been short-listed by IIM Lucknow, we will inform you by email/post by
First week of April 2010. Short-listed candidates must apply on-line to McGill University by
April 15, 2010. Admission results of IPFX / MMF Programme will be announced latest by
July 1, 2010. Offer of admittance must be accepted by August 2, 2010.
2. ADMISSION PROCESS
Is the admission offer open to me for the next batch in case I am unable to join this
year?
We are looking for middle to senior level professionals from corporate, banking, insurance,
NBFCs, Mutual Funds, government sector and regulatory bodies. Candidates could therefore
be from private/ public sector/ government departments/ NGOs. They could also be
professionals (e.g. Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, Company Secretaries) /
consultants, defense personnel, civil servants or entrepreneurs.

Interviews would be held in major metros depending on the regional spread of candidates
3. ABOUT IPFX
What degree would be offered on completion of the course?
IPFX has a finance focus. It will provide strong quantitative foundations in Finance and
develop advanced analytical tools and techniques, skill sets and perspectives necessary for
optimal financial decision-making at managerial level in a global business environment.
Specifically, the electives will develop deeper understanding of the areas such as corporate
finance, venture capital & corporate restructuring, investment management, hedge funds,
security analysis, capital markets and risk management, investment, commercial and retail
banking, finance function within public sector and not-for- profit organizations, corporate
planning & consulting and accountancy firms and regulatory issues.
In addition to the existing IIML faculty at Lucknow and Noida campuses, the program
faculty would include:
• Eminent faculty from McGill University Canada (on a visiting basis), providing
an intensive finance curriculum and an international perspective
• Industry practitioners and entrepreneurs for continuous industry interaction
Will I get placement even if I am currently in a senior position having over 10 years of
experience?
The institute will facilitate career services to candidates across age groups and would enable
candidates to network for career development and opportunities
We have limited accommodation for family only to join for a week or a two during the entire
course.
The new campus is located on 20-acres of land in Sector - 62 of NOIDA. The campus has a
state-of-the-art library, computer centre, classroom block, hostels, wi-fi networking and
facilities for indoor and outdoor games. The Campus is in close proximity to commercial
complexes, corporate offices, markets and is accessible to the NCR area
5. FINANCIALS
The fee for International Programme in Finance for Executives (IPFX) is INR 15,00,000
(USD 42,500) which includes tuition, cost of course material, library and computer facilities,
accommodation and mess charges at the Noida Campus.
