TARGET
Health –related fitness is all about psychology, personal health and
how physical activity influences us as a person. This is important for anyone
who wants to live a physically active lifestyle to support a higher quality of
life.
In your previous lessons you become aware that being physically fit
can help you get through with stresses and demands of life and this
improves your self-esteem, develops your confidence and self-concept, which
can only be realized when, are much older.
This module is designed for you as a Grade 12 student, to explore
knowledge and skills that will help you develop a lifelong habit of physical
fitness and wellness.
After going through this module, you are expected to:

1. self-assess health-related fitness (HRF) status, barriers to physical


activity assessment participation and one’s diet (PEH12FH-IIg-i-6)

Before going on, proceed to the next page and accomplish the
pre-test.
