Loss of Time and Cost

An average Indian driver spends 20 minutes every day on average to look for a
suitable parking spot, An incalculable loss to national productivity. On average
40% of the cars are being parked on the roads resulting in traffic congestion. As
per a 2018 study by BCG, it is estimated that we lose 1.47 lac crore rupees a year
to congestion in the four metro cities alone. If we just double this figure to
include the rest of the country and add fuel inflation, the estimated loss to traffic
congestion would exceed the healthcare and education budget of India combined.
Furthermore, the burden it puts on our town planners to constantly spend on
flyovers, subways, etc. is another challenge altogether.
COMPANY PURPOSE

• The proposed ‘PARKARO’ project is a smart parking booking system that provides
customers an easy way of reserving a parking space online.
• It overcomes the problem of finding a parking space in commercial areas that
unnecessary consumes time and fuel of users

THE PROBLEM

• An average Indian driver spends 20 minutes every day on average to look for a
suitable parking spot (as per a report by IBM)
• No way of knowing if parking has vacant spots until you reach there.
• Waste of time in looking for a vacant spot within the parking
• Daily new car registrations of approximately 800 cars in Mumbai and 1500 cars in
New Delhi (NCR).
• Majority of buildings in the city areas are old, without any provision for parking, the
roads are already cramped.
THE SOLUTION

• It provides basic automation that allows users to independently navigate the complete
parking process – from knowing the parking occupancy status to ticketing, parking, and
fees.
• It enables a user to get real-time updates of an apt parking spot in the nearby area.
• Primarily it is aimed at automating the time a driver physically spends to find a parking
spot. This results in more convenience to the user thus solving the parking woes and
problem of traffic.
• Vendor can monitor and analyze parking and payment data remotely.

REVENUE STREAMS

Start up is going to provide facility to existing parking slots where in we will


charge to parking providers. It can be Private or Government parking.
Isolated events like Cricket Matches, Musical nights are good source of income
where by we will engage private and Government plots on hire and will charge
to end users.
Government sectors like Airport, Railway and Bus Station are major source of
public transport where foot fall is on higher side and parking is alarming. We
will charge to users for parking.
Private and Corporate parking space is available for their staff and clients which
can be managed online in our application. We will charge to service providers
for providing parking facility on realtime basis.
VALUE PROPOSITION

OUR CUSTOMER PREFERS PARKARO DUE TO FOLLOWING REASONS :

PRICING MODEL
Pricing Model will depend on segment which we are serving.

 For Private parking owners, it will be Fixed Payment to them and Revenue will be collected

from end user. It will be Charges per Transaction Model

 For Government Parkings, charges will be fixed after discussion with Government

Authorities as it depends on demand and supply perspective. Charges for Airport, Railway

Station and Bus Stand will be based on Subscription Model

 Corporate Parking will be charged differently based on services opted by them. As there will

be Valet Parking, Washing Facility, Security Services and CCTV surveillance. It will be Leased

Model or Subscription Model.


MARKETING

 Social Media is best way digital presence now a days. We are having our Account on Facebook,

Instagram,Linkedin and such other platforms.

 We are going to have tie up with FM Radio Channels and discussion is in process.

 We will go with News paper advertisements for event based activity.

 We are providing FAQs on Whatsapp to answer queries of users and to guide him for use.

 Our Youtube videos will enable user to operate simple mobile app and will explain him benefits of app
