brought us the beginning of this day.
Strengthen our body and mind. Help
and guide us in our study. These we
ask through CHRIST our LORD.
Amen.
2. Motivations
Importance of Inference
Inference is drawing conclusions based on
information that has been essential skill
both in listening and reading
comprehension.
Character's Feelings
Some of the character's feelings are happy,
excited, surprised, sad
worried, angry, scared and other.
Character's Traits
Some of the character's traits are kind,
loyal, industrious, responsible, thoughtful.
Direction: Focus on the three (3) events
from the story “The Red Car”
3. Generalization/Value Infusion
Inferring means figuring out
What is inferring? something that the author doesn't
actually say, teacher.
What are the character feelings? Some of the character's feelings are
happy, excited, surprised, sad
worried, angry, and scared.
What are the character traits? Some of the character's traits are kind,
loyal, industrious, responsible,
thoughtful.
IV. Evaluation
Direction: Infer the character’s feeling/traits. White the correct answer on a piece of
paper.
