Vidya Lakshmi is a first of its kind portal for students seeking Education Loan. This portal has been developed
under the guidance of Department of Financial Services, (Ministry of Finance), Department of Higher Education
(Ministry of Education) and Indian Banks Association (IBA). The portal has been developed and being maintained
by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. Students can view, apply, and track the education loan
applications to banks anytime, anywhere by accessing the portal. The portal also provides linkages to National

provided by banks and make applications for Educational Loans.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION IN

GALGOTIAS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (GCET)
1. Admission:
o Confirm Admission: It would imply completion of all conditions i.e. original document verification, payment of
full fees and enrollment with AKTU.
o Provisional Admission: Students whose results have not been declared on the date of reporting for admission
will be given Provisional Admission subject to the following conditions:
Original certificates and Mark sheets of previous examinations passed along with photocopies are produced.
Mark sheets of previous semesters/years along with photocopies are produced and the Student has secured the
desired aggregate percentage as per minimum eligibility criteria.
Students and his/her parent submit an undertaking in the prescribed form that she/he shall submit proof of
having fulfilled the eligibility conditions on the date of commencement of the session or the latest by 15th
August 2024, failing which admission will be cancelled and fees shall be forfeited.
2. Attendance: All students are expected to maintain 100% attendance in all courses. However, students may
be permitted to appear in Sessional/ End Semester exams at a minimum 75% attendance or as per norms of the
AKTU.
3. Ragging Free Campus: Kindly note that Galgotias College of Engineering &Technology has always been a
ragging free campus. Ragging is totally banned in the campus including all its premises (academic, residential,
sports, canteen etc.) whether located within or outside the campus and in all means of transportation of
students whether public or private. Anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging is liable for
disciplinary action and punishment as per law laid down.
4.Right of Alteration/Modification:
o Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology reserve its right to change the provided Fee Structure by the
orders of Fee Fixation and Regulation of Admission Committee, Lucknow/ The Appellate Authority, U.P. Private
Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees), Lucknow/ Honble High
Court/ Honble Supreme Court.
o Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology reserves its right to modify, alter and/or include any other
Terms and Conditions that may be deemed fit in the interest of the Institution.
5. Cancellation of Admission: Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology reserves its right to cancel the
admission of applicants under any of the following circumstances:
o If the full fee is not deposited by the stipulated date.
o If the Applicant does not join the particular program by the stipulated date even though the full fee has been
deposited.
o If the Applicant fails to furnish the proof of the stipulated minimum qualification required for the program.
o If any of the document(s) submitted by student to Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology is found to
be forged, fabricated or false during the period of his/her study.
6. Refund of Fees: Rules of the AICTE/AKTU will be applicable
All successful Students shall be bound by the above-mentioned Terms & Conditions of Galgotias
