Please note that your old DCB Niyo Global card will stop
functioning from 1st August 2024, We encourage you to migrate to
our new DCB Niyo debit card with incredible perks which will make
your international travel and banking experience better!

How do I get a new DCB Niyo debit card?


It’s easy! You can get it in two simple ways:

1 Via the Niyo app


2 Via a DCB Bank branch
Open an account via the Niyo app
What you’ll need
 Aadhaar Number
 Original PAN card with signature
 Aadhaar-linked mobile to receive OTPs
 Passport File No.

Next steps
1 Download Niyo App

2 Verify your Mobile Number, Email ID, and set a 6-digit


Passcode for your app

3 Verify your Passport File Number. Find it on the last page of


your passport. It is a unique 12 or 15-digit alphanumeric
code, not the same as your Passport Number.

4 Pick a bank: DCB Bank


Next steps
5 Verify your Aadhaar Number.

6 Enter your Personal Details, Communication Address (where


you want your card delivered), and add a Nominee

7 Complete your 3-minute Video KYC (VKYC) within the app.


Expect VKYC approval status in 24 to 48 hours.

8 Once VKYC is approved, your DCB Niyo savings account


will be ready and your DCB Niyo debit card will be delivered
to your Communication Address within 3-5 days.

Note: If your Video KYC does not go through, please visit


a DCB Bank branch to complete your verification with
biometric KYC.

We encourage you to open an account online through the Niyo app.
However, if you encounter any hurdle, please visit a DCB Bank
branch near you to complete your verification with biometric KYC.

FAQs
1 Will my existing account automatically migrate to the new
DCB Niyo savings account?

No, you will have to download the new Niyo app to complete
your account opening process

2 Will the new debit card have all the features of my old card?

Yes, absolutely! Your new account and debit card will have
all the features of your old card and more to make your
international travel and payment experience awesome!

3 What if I don’t migrate now?

Your existing account and card will stop working from 1st
August 2024.

4 What happens to my existing card if currently I’m not in


India and unable to open a new account?

Please contact us at global@goniyo.com with your travel


documents and we’ll work with the bank to get the validity
extended for your existing account and card.

5 Can you send my new debit card to an international


address?

We apologise, but currently, we are unable to ship your card


to an international address.

6 What about the funds in my existing DCB Niyo Global


account?

� Transfer your funds to the new savings account once it is active

� Use the available funds for your daily spends

� Transfer the funds to any other bank account you prefer


7 Will my standing instructions or auto pay still work after
30th July 2024?

No, all the automatic payments linked to your existing DCB


Niyo Global debit card will be declined.

8 Will there be any cost for migrating to the new app?

No, it’s completely free!
