Launching and Partnership of the National
Learning Camp
Agenda Item: Participation in Learning Enhancement Camp
Discussion:
The principal introduced the agenda item and asked for a brief overview of the
Learning Enhancement, Consolidation and Intervention Camp. The teacher gave a
brief overview of the camp, which is a three- five weeks summer program that
provides students with academic support and enrichment activities. The camp is
open to students in grades 7-12 who are struggling academically.
The principal then asked for feedback from the attendees on whether or not the
school should participate in the camp. The PTA president said that he thought the
camp would be a great opportunity for students who are struggling academically.
The volunteer also agreed, saying that she thought the camp would be a valuable
experience for students.

Enhancement Camp. The principal will contact the volunteer teacher/facilitators
to reserve spots for students who are interested in participating.
