Week 4

Writing Task: Assignment – A day off!

Students:

Yamiley Aquino Cuti

Jean Pier Saul Quezada Manrique
Monday to Friday Routine:
Morning:

6:30 AM: Wake up and start the day with a quick stretch or some light yoga (5-10
minutes).
6:45 AM: Take a shower and get dressed for work (30 minutes).
7:15 AM: Have breakfast, usually a quick meal like oatmeal or toast with coffee (20
minutes).
7:45 AM: Commute to work, which takes about 30 minutes.
Workday:

8:15 AM to 12 PM: Work begins; I typically spend this time attending meetings,
responding to emails, and working on projects.
10:00 AM: Take a short coffee break (10-15 minutes).
12 PM: Lunch break, often a quick meal at my desk or a walk outside (30 minutes).
Afternoon:

12:30 PM to 5 PM: Return to work, continuing with tasks in a similar pattern,

interspersed with another coffee break around 3 PM (10-15 minutes).
5:00 PM: End of the workday, commute home (30 minutes).
Evening:

5:30 PM: Arrive home and unwind for a bit, usually with some light reading or TV (1
hour).
6:30 PM: Prepare and eat dinner, often trying to keep it healthy (1 hour).
7:30 PM: Spend time on personal projects, hobbies, or catch up with family/friends (1-2
hours).
9:30 PM: Wind down with some light reading or meditation before sleep (30 minutes).
10:00 PM: Bedtime.
Day Off:
Today is a day off, and the contrast to my usual routine is quite notable:

Morning:
8:00 AM: I wake up later without an alarm, enjoying the extra sleep. I take my time
getting out of bed.
8:30 AM: Have a leisurely breakfast, perhaps eggs and pancakes, while savoring a cup
of hot tea.
Activities:

Instead of a busy workday, I plan a day trip to a nearby nature reserve.

9:30 AM: I start packing a picnic and prepare for a hike, which is something I don’t
usually have time for during the week.
10:30 AM: I spend the morning in nature, something I look forward to all week. The
fresh air and scenery are invigorating.
Afternoon:

12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch outdoors, surrounded by natural beauty—something I rarely do

during the week.
1:30 PM: Go for a longer hike and explore new trails, taking the time to relax and enjoy
the moment.
Evening:

5:00 PM: Return home after a fulfilling day out. I feel recharged and happy.
6:00 PM: Spend the evening with a movie or some personal projects, with no rush or
responsibilities looming.
9:00 PM: Prepare for bed around the same time, but with a sense of peace and
satisfaction from the day off.
Overall, while my weekdays are structured and busy, my day off allows for relaxation,
adventure, and enjoyment of activities that nourish my soul, giving me a break from the
routine.
