Materials list
Yarn:
- Scheepjes Catona - Fiber Content: 100% mercerized cotton. Yarn weight: Fingering (50gr/125m).

1.75mm hook (or the size you prefer), fiberfill, tapestry needle, scissors, pins and stitch markers.

Base
Round With lime color (512).
1 6sc in a magic ring = 6 sts
3 6 inks = 12 sts
3 (1sc, ink) 6 times = 18 sts
4 BLO - (2sc, inc) 6 times = 24 sts. Mark the last loop of round 3.
5 (1sc, ch1) 23 times, 1sc = 47 sts.
Cut the yarn and finish with invisible join. Weave in the remaining yarn
tail.
Stem and gill
Round With white (105) insert the hook in the visible loop of the last st of round 3 (previously marked
loop).
1-2 sc each st around (2 rounds) = 18 sts. Don't cut the yarn.
Tip: To make the mushroom more structured, reinforce the base with a felt sticker, some cardboard or
plastic cut to size or any other flat material you think is suitable.
With light brown, embroider small lines at the base of the stem.
Tip: For a more delicate effect, divide the Catona yarn strands and use only half.
Red mushroom
Round Repeat the instructions for the base, the stem and the gill. Don't
embroider the gill lines.
With red yarn (115) make the cap.
1 6sc in a magic ring = 6 sts
2 6 incs = 12 sts
3 (1sc, inc) 6 times = 18 sts
4 1sc, inc, (2sc, inc) 5 times, 1sc = 24 sts
5 (3sc, inc) 6 times = 30 sts
6 2sc, inc, (4sc, inc) 5 times, 2sc = 36 sts
7 sc each st around = 36 sts. Don't cut the yarn. Put the work on hold.
With white, randomly embroider French Knots around the cap.
Tip: For a more delicate effect, use a thinner white yarn or divide the strands that make up the Catona yarn
and use only half.
Join the cap and the gill as you did for the brown mushroom.
