 Registration/Check-in:
When we went there for registration, it was very in order which cause it to be done easily. And
the staffs are very welcoming to us, and also they are very accommodating to us. Also they have a
pleasing personality which makes them to be more approachable.
 Seminar:

The seminar we had at vikings is short but it was very informative since it discuss about
the background of the vikings and also it shares to us tips on how to provide excellent
quality kind of service that will surely make our guests satisfied. And also they share the
different vikings all over the Philippines with a different themes which amazes me because I
thought was it has only the same theme, I was really surprised and amazed at the same
time.
 Familiarization:

When were doing a little tour before we had our meal, the place were very cozy and relaxing
it has a nice ambiance where it helps sets the mood to din. The place has a theme of “The Starry
Nights of Manhattan City which is beautiful and very appealing to eyes. The set-up of the tables is
also perfect it is not lacking space since it is a buffet style restaurant.
 Demo:

The chef who demonstrated two dishes is a graduate of culinary in University of St. La Salle
Bacolod. He demonstrated how to cook a pizza and a pasta and while showing us the step by step
on how to cook and make it, he also shares the origin of those two dishes. In this demonstration
we just didn’t learn a history but also we get to learn the steps of the making of the pizza and the
pasta that has been demonstrated in the seminar. This experience I’ve had was enriching for me.
 Snacks/Meals:
The meals I had was mostly from Japanese cuisines since I really love sushi and sashimi, but
also I’ve also tried different foods but mostly it was Japanese food that I eat a lot because I really
like the taste of their foods. This experience I’ve had really widen my knowledge to different
cuisines not jus Japanese foods because I also tried the different food so that I will be familiar with
their taste.
- Overall Insights:
The Dine and Learn event was a unique opportunity to expand my knowledge and network.
The event was organized in a cozy venue with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for connecting
with professionals from hospitality field. During the event, I had the chance to enjoy
delicious food while listening to insightful presentations. The presentations were engaging,
and I was able to learn a lot from the speaker. They shared their experiences and
knowledge, which were enriching and inspiring, as well as the little background of the
Vikings. What stood out to me the most was the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the
event. Despite being a professional gathering, it felt like a casual dinner with friends. The
organizers did an excellent job of creating a welcoming environment where everyone felt
comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas. Overall, I left the Dine and Learn event
feeling energized, enriched, and inspired. It was an excellent opportunity to learn
something new, connect with professionals from the industry I’m studying, and expand my
network. I look forward to attending future events and continuing to build my skills and
knowledge.
