My educational background and hands-on experience have provided me with key skills that align with
the requirements of this role. These include strong analytical abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a
proactive approach to problem-solving. My ambition to make informed investment decisions and drive
financial growth motivates me to continually learn and apply innovative financial strategies.
Moreover, my experience with internships and placements, as outlined in the Go Abroad China program,
has prepared me to work efficiently in a dynamic international environment. I am enthusiastic about the
opportunity to contribute to your team, utilizing my skills and knowledge to achieve impactful results in
the finance sector.
Question 2: Tell us about a time when you worked in a team . What was your role and did you achieve?
The most recent time I worked in a team was just last Monday in a course called "WORKING IN GROUP"
at the University of Greenwich. My team consisted of 5 members. Our goal was to create a presentation
to complete the task assigned by the teacher.
C- Context: The goal of our team was to create a complete presentation to fulfill the teacher's
assignment. Our team had 5 members.
A- Action: Everyone in the team divided the tasks equally. Other members focused on finding ideas,
while I was responsible for creating the presentation file on PowerPoint. I designed the slides to be as
visual and comprehensible as possible, ensuring that the content was presented logically and coherently.
R- Results: In the end, our team's work was highly evaluated. My presentation file significantly
contributed to this success, receiving many compliments from the teacher and classmates. This
experience helped me understand the importance of effective collaboration and task delegation within a
team.
With my demonstrated teamwork skills, I believe I will make the most of the opportunities in the Finance
& Investment Banking internship program in China by Go Abroad China. This program will offer me the
chance to learn from top industry professionals, be trained and mentored by experienced individuals. I
will have the opportunity to enhance my professional skills, gain a deeper understanding of Chinese
business culture and language, and participate in networking events and cultural activities. My
teamwork skills will enable me to collaborate effectively with international colleagues, manage
multitasking projects, and contribute positively to the overall success of the internship company. These
skills will form a solid foundation for my career development in finance and investment banking.
Question 3: Describe a situation where you didn't achieve the outcome you wanted. How did you handle
the situation and what would you do differently?
A typical example is when I received a poor grade at school without understanding why, even though I
had prepared very thoroughly for every situation. This happened during an important exam. This result
was really significant as it impacted my academic performance.
Context: I faced an unexpected situation when I received a poor grade despite thorough preparation.
This greatly affected my academic performance.
Action: To handle this situation, I sat down to find out the reasons and listened to feedback from
teachers and classmates. I realized that there were some mistakes in my approach and some knowledge I
had not fully grasped.
Result: After investigating and listening, I was able to correct my previous mistakes. I learned to calmly sit
down to find reasons and listen to feedback. This helped me improve my self-study skills and better
prepare for future exams.
I believe that the ability to calmly analyze and listen will greatly benefit me in the Finance & Investment
Banking internship in China. Go Abroad China's program requires precision, carefulness, and the ability
to learn from experts. These skills will help me handle unexpected situations, learn from mistakes, and
improve myself, while also contributing to the overall success of the working team.
