    POWERS OF THIS HONORABLE COURT
    TAKE NOTICE that this honourable court shall be moved on the. ………….day 2024 at the
    hour of 9.00am or so soon thereafter as the Counsel will be heard on behalf of the Claimant
    /Applicant for an application notifying the court of change of Counsel and as well praying the
    court for the following RELIEFS:
    1. AN ORDER OF this honorable court granting the Application of the Appellant to change
    his counsel
    2. AN ORDER OF this honourable court mandating the Registry and the Respondent to
    further channel all processes through the new counsel.
    3. AND FOR SUCH FURTHER ORDERS as this honorable court may deem fit to make
    in the circumstances of this case.
    ALSO TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the ground of this motion is as follow:
    1. The Applicant Counsel is by law barred from further appearance before any court as he
    has been elevated to the bench as a Judge of the National LAWSAN Court
    2. The Applicant is desirous of being represented by counsel of his choice.

    AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF MOTION ON NOTICE


    I, CHUKWUDI CHINANZA ONYEAGHALA, Male, Adult, Christian, of Faculty of Law,
    University of Calabar, do hereby make oath and state as follows:
    1. That I am the Claimant in this case and by virtue of my position, I am conversant with the
    facts and circumstances of this case.
    2. That I earlier engage the service of J.O. Yusuf to represent me in this case.
    3. That I know as of fact that J.O. Yusuf has been elevated to the National LAWSAN
    Judiciary by virtue of which he cannot continue with the representation.
    4. That his letter of appointment into the bench is annexed to this affidavit as EXHIBIT A
    5. That I know as of fact that I have the constitutional right to be represented by any counsel
    of my choice.
    6. That I am desirous of being represented and by virtue of which I have engage the service
    of new counsel.
    7. That my new counsel are as follows:
    a. N.O. Keulere from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
    b. M.F. Sanni (miss) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
    c. S.O. Agada from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
    8. That I know as of fact that who to represent me is not the business of the court or of the
    Defendant
    9. That this application is not prejudicial to the Respondents and as such it is in the best
    interest of justice to grant same.
    10. That I depose to this affidavit in good faith, good conscience and sincerely believe its
    contents to be true in accordance to oaths Act 2004.
