    Effective prayer dynamics

    FOUR MAJOR ASSIGNMENTS OF PRAYER

    Prayer is not the key to everything but it should be included in everything.

    1. Growth and transformation( Luke 9:29) transition, exchange and transformation.


    2. Make requests and obtain promises(Philippians 4:6)
    3. Decrees and establishing spiritual realities (Job 22:28)
    4. Warfare and intercession(John 10:10)(Ezekiel 22:30). Warfare: Engaging
    through the understanding of scripture and establishing the victory that is in Christ.

    HOW TO HAVE AN EFFECTIVE PRAYER:

    1. FERVENCY (James 5:16): The prayer of a believer that produces power to influence,
    power to manipulate, power to establish MUST be prayer that is FERVENT.
    Prayer that is fervent: a prayer from the heart, with zeal with passion and truthfulness
    ( Jeremiah 29:13).
    ● (2 chronicles 15:12&15): God honors the strength and passion invested in our commitment
    to Him and prayer.
    Examples in the Bible for when God doesn’t take an individual serious because of their lack of
    commitment would be Abel & Cain. God accepted Abel’s sacrifice and didn’t accept Cain’s
    because of the nature of their Sacrifice.
    ● (Revelation 3:16) this shows how God frowns at lukewarmness which is lack of passion in
    another sense. If u are cold, God will correct u and change u, if u are hot God will lift u and
    bless u however if u are neither, God cannot take u serious.

    2. EFFECTUAL: To use or to engage in a way that avoids loss or waste of time n energy.
    What makes prayer effectual is the degree by which the will of God is captured in a believer’s
    prayer.
    Praying the will of God is beyond attaching scripture. Even satan used scripture to tempt
    Jesus yet it was not in alignment with the will of God.
    ( 1 John 5:14-15): praying in alignment with His will gives us the reassurance that whatsoever we
    ask we shall receive.
    (Ephesians 5:15-17): Here Paul is teaching believers to redeem time by KNOWING THE WILL OF
    GOD. This way a believer will walk accurately.
    ● The entire economy of heaven revolves around the will of God.
    ● The assignment of the will of God is to enforce and maintain the will of God in the life of
    the believer and around the cosmos.
    ● The reason why sickness is healed is NOT because the power of God can heal but bcz
    sickness is inconsistent with the will of God. So the power of God finds an assignment
    there
    ● Making decrees is useless until u are certain u r in the WILL OF GOD!
    ● God has bound Himself to honor His word (psalm 138:2 )

    Ways to pray the will of God

    1. Praying scripture based prayer: Pray with authority knowing that His word has a rich
    capture of His will.
    God is Almighty but He bounds Himself to the operation of His word. That is why as powerful as
    He is, He did not cast sin out of man( Hebrews 9:22)
    2. Praying in the spirit(Romans 8:26-27): we as humans are limited by reasons of wearing a
    mortal body. We see in part and prophesy in part.
    We are limited because there are dimensions of God’s nature He did not share with man:
    – His omnipresence
    – His omnipotence
    – His omniscience
    God does not have authority.
    Demons have powers but not authority.
    Man has power AND authority.
    ● Due to the lack of these dimensions the the spirit who knows the will of God reveals His
    heart to us, will meet u at the point of passion. This is how we will pray with scripture
    knowing well that is it HIS WILL.
    ● You don’t stop praying until the knowledge of the will of God through the Holy spirit is is
    transferred to u!
    When Jesus was on earth, Jesus opened the book of Esaias and showed what was written about
    Him. KNOW WHAT IS WRITTEN ABOUT YOU!
    As compassionate as God is, He only acts in accordance to His will.
    “Everything that is inconsistent with the word of God in my life with the design of God must
    be canceled in prayer ”
    In this kingdom “is it written”GREATER THAN “I saw”.
