PRESENT WORK
• In same all technical parameters were inspected, reviewed, witnessed as
EXPERIENCE per ITP / QAP and customer requirements.
• Proprietor of a small scale printing press at Miraj.
KEPL is a joint venture organization with Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. & Ebara
corporation, Japan. The organization is formed in the year 1989 having
PREVIOUS WORK design & manufacturing facility with a wide range of process pumps in
EXPERIENCE
hydrocarbon process industries as per American Petroleum Institutes (API)
norms. The customers for KEPL are BPCL, HPCL, RELIANCE, ONGC etc.
from Domestic markets & Linde, Saudi Aramco, Air Liquid etc. from Export
markets.

# WORK EXPOSURE :
• As a supplier Quality Assurance incharge for the all bought out related
with pumps.
• Responsible for all inspection activities related with all bought outs.
(e.g. : Seals, couplings, Fasteners, Instruments, Flushing plans,
Gaskets, Piping materials, Forgings, round bars/shaft etc.)
• Responsible for attending Third Party inspector as & when required.
• Responsible for reviewing & maintaining all test certificates of the
bought out items, Test certificate includes all relevant tests conducted
results as per QAP/ITP & it's MTC's.
• Responsible for generation of Non conformity Report (NCR) if any
bought out item having any quality issues. Communicating the same
with respective supplier through purchase department & add the
technical supports for resolution of the NCR's.
• Proper tracking of the NCR status. Closure of the NCR's after resolution.
• Responsible for SAP transactions of the incoming materials / boughtouts
(Acceptance / Rejection of the material after proper resolution of the
NCR)
• Responsible for selecting the new vendor with the help of purchase
department : Vendor Evaluation Cell.
• Responsible for generating / maintaining the data for supplier NCR &
related quality issues.
• Responsible for vendor end inspections as & when required.
• Responsible for making the awareness for the quality with proper
communication with supplier by the way of Power Point presentations,
graphs, e-mail / telephonic communications.
• Team member of the Quality circle group / activity.
• Team member of the SETU Project, which is formed by aiming to
eliminate the gaps / lapses with supplier's & bridge the same with proper
horizontal communications and create the culture of the partnership with
supplier.
• Associated with Safety awareness team in the organization.
• Responsible for the documentations related with audits such as ISO,
EMS - OHSHAS, ISO9001 - 14001 etc.
• Responsible for the team member of the 5S working zone. Achieved
upto 3S certification.
• Attending the supplier's during visits.
• Attending supplier's meets.

• Ability to inspect machined pump shafts.
• Ability to inspect all pump related fabrication work. e.g. : Base frames,
Pump Barrels, Heat Exchanger, Flushing Plans, etc.
• Can inspect pump casings (inner/outer), impellers, Wearing rings, & other
related components.
• Can inspect hardness by any method.
Prior to joining KEPL, I was associated with BHARAT FORGE LTD. since
2008 to 2011 at Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM), Baramati as an
Engineer (selected through campus recruitment programme) with
responsibility of Line Quality supervisor / auditor. The product range of BFL
is vast & basically I was associated with the line quality auditor for the
crankshaft line where the crankshafts were machined / manufactured for
the length of 0.5 meters to 3 meters from all Global & domestic markets.
(Cummins, Catterpillar, Perkins, TATA, Mahindra etc.)
# WORK EXPOSURE :
• Responsible for heavy crankshaft Line Quality Auditor.
• Responsible for the quality of product at each work station by maintaining
the quality tools such as graphs, histograms, DIR registers etc.
• Responsible for maintaining the quality from raw / forged crank shaft to
finished crankshaft & upto packing.
• Responsible for reducing the scrap & finding out the root cause.
• Creating a QUALITY MINDNESS in the employees which leads to quality
culture & ownership of quality in the organization.
• Team member for the documentation of PPAP, APQP for customer
approvals.
• Attending the third party / customer audit.
• Preparation of dimensional inspection reports (DIR) according to
manufacturing Quality Plan (MQP).
• Responsible for bought out (child parts) quality inspections.
• ISO documentation, Six sigma analysis.
• Active participation in 5S, KAIZEN activities.
• Responsible for CMM inspections as & when required. This skill was
gained during job rotation concept.
• Responsible for handling the instruments like Taylor Hobson surface
finish, mahr perthometer for measuring the radius value & straightness
of the ground job as & when required.
• Evaluation of CMM, ADCOLE, Taylor Hobson Machine Reports.

• Participated in the seminar at Dr. J. J. Magdum COE, Jaysingpur on " Control Techniques for
Mechanical & Electronics Systems".
• Particaprd in the National Level Paper Presentation with subject : 'Logistics' in supply chain
management.
• Submitted the cost reduction project by removing the electrically operated conveyor with
gravity operated at BFL Axle Line.
• Recognized & appreciated by KEPL organization thrice for the completion of the special task
of inventory reduction initiatives.
• Awarded by KEPL for the GOOD KAIZEN. : Process Related
• In the month Sept. 2014 visited JAPAN for inspection / witness activity as a KEPL
representative at Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Co. Nagasaki - JAPAN (TMEIC) for 3
working days. The main aim is to witness various motor tests as per QAP & to co-ordinate &
communicate the KEPL QA requirements, also to expedite the delivery schedules etc.
