Student (GS) requirements as part of the student visa application process. All applicants for a student visa must demonstrate they
satisfy the Genuine Student (GS) criteria as part of the assessment. You will need to address the below questionnaires instead of a
Statement of Purpose and demonstrate your personal circumstances for undertaking the proposed study in Australia.
This form should be completed using the pdf editor version to allow some feedback; alternatively, please use the Microsoft Word
document.

1. Details of your current circumstances, including ties to family, community, employment and economic circumstances.

Must demonstrate: personal ties to home country & reason for not studying in the home country if a similar course is
available etc.

I, Harleen Kaur, come from a close-knit family in VPO Khabbe Rajputan, Baba Bakala, Amritsar, Punjab, where my parents, Pargat Singh and
Gurjit Kaur, have instilled strong values of education and community involvement. I completed my matriculation in 2022 with an 80.8% and
my senior secondary education in 2024 with a score of 79%, both through CBSE. Although there are nursing programs available locally, they
often lack the quality, infrastructure, and international recognition that I seek. I have chosen to pursue a Bachelor of Nursing at the University
of Southern Queensland in Australia to gain access to advanced educational facilities and a global perspective in healthcare. My aim is to return
to India equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to make a meaningful contribution to my community and support my family,
reinforcing my strong personal ties to my home country.

2. Explain why you wish to study this course in Australia with the University of Southern Queensland and also your
understanding of the requirements of the intended course and studying and living in Australia.
Must demonstrate: research conducted on UniSQ specifically: location, program, tuition and program outcomes, living
arrangements and financial stability etc
I wish to study the Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) because it offers a high-quality curriculum recognized for its practical
training and strong theoretical foundation, including valuable clinical placements. UniSQ is consistently ranked among the top universities in Australia for nursing,
reflecting its commitment to excellence in education and student outcomes. Located in Toowoomba, the university provides a supportive environment for
international students and has a lower cost of living compared to larger cities. The competitive tuition fees represent a worthwhile investment in my future, as I
believe this education will lead to promising career opportunities. I have researched on-campus housing and am preparing a budget to ensure financial stability while
studying, including plans for part-time work. Overall, UniSQ is an ideal choice for me to gain the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful nursing career.

3. Explain how completing the course will be of benefit to you.

Must demonstrate: study relevance and improve employment prospects in the home country
After completion of my graduation course in Australia, I shall come back to my home country to buildmy independent professional career. With an international degree and global exposure, I
can leverageinternational education and practical experience to secure positions in top hospitals and healthcare facilities, where advanced skills will be highly valued. Specializing in areas such as
pediatric nursing or critical care can further enhance my career prospects. Many employment options, including those in public health, education, social services, health services, and research,
are provided by this course. This can give your work a strong sense of direction and fulfilment. I will work for reputable organizations like The Satguru Pratap Singh Apollo Hospital, Fortis
Hospital, and Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research as a Registered nurse, Public health nurse, Home health nurse, Social worker, etc. Alternatively, I might choose to
contribute to the education sector by becoming a nursing instructor, helping to elevate the standards of nursing education in India. With a global perspective and advancedtraining, my return to
India can make a meaningful impact on the healthcare sector. With this degree I can get starting salary of around 7 to 8 lakh annually in my home country. Job sites: https://www.indeed.com/,
