Statement of Purpose
Introduction
I am always being focused towards her future career. Future is the path learnt from
past and started from present. So to make my future bright and satisfactory, I
should take correct decision regarding my career.
Family Background
I have 7 family members including me. My father is agriculturist his annual income is
INR 5, 30,000, my two sisters are in India, one is studying in India and one sister is
studying in Australia.
For my study and living in Australia, I have come across sufficient funds and I will be
financially sponsored by my parents for my tuitions fees, living and other relevant
expenses which may occur during my study period in Australia. My family is
financially sound and holds sufficient funds for my higher studies in Australia. I have
got information regarding requisite funds and expenses by searching on the official
website of Australian government.

Keeping my goal and target in my mind, Gamma Education & Training Pty Ltd,
Queensland seems to be an excellent and brilliant place for carrying my career
ahead to its peak as doing a qualification at an international level will carry more
weight-age.
There is no denying that there are many institutions available in my country such as:
Firstly one has to clear the entrance exams which are quite a tough job due to the
limited number of seats in such institutions.
Moreover while studying in my home country I cannot get the benefits that can be
gained while studying abroad such as international exposure which would add extra
weight to my resume to get good jobs in future. Secondly, by studying in an English
speaking country I can improve my communication skills. Last but not the least, the
value and recognition of an international degree due to the latest business
techniques and understanding of the advanced economy are always higher than a
local degree especially in one of the most emerging markets like India today. Hence
internationally qualified candidates are always preferred comparatively. Due to all
these merits of overseas education, I have decided to have an international degree
rather a domestic one.
During my research I found that it is very difficult for a student to get enroll in such
universities. It is a tough competition with limited number of seats and very high
number of applicants. Number of student sitting for competitive exams each year is
1.2 Million and only the very brightest can get opportunity to study at top
universities in India. My options were limited to Section 2 and 3 universities, which
does not have much recognition.
In addition to that, I will not get any international exposure while studying in India
neither I will be able to improve my communication skills. Whereas, through
international degree, I will get International exposure which will help me to develop
deep understanding regarding my program and high employment opportunities as
the most of the Indian employers are view students with foreign degree favorablyas
their college curriculum is believed to be more in sync with the needs of the
industry.
Owing to these reasons, I decided that studying from good university in Australia
would be better for in terms of quality education and recognition.
Why Australia rather than other countries like USA & UK-
In UK I found I need to crack UKCAT and BMAT to get admission into top colleges &
Universities of UK such as University of Surrey , University of Essex, University of
Greenwich, oxford university and more but the duration of Bachelor of hospitality
management program is 3 to 4 year which have not much recognition back in India.
Further, UK and US are always under some or the other terrorist threat. My parents
were not comfortable in sending me to a country with security risk. I ruled out USA
and UK due to the security reasons. USA has always been in news due to its Gun
policy and numerous shoot out events every now and then.
Whereas, in Australia has more business and economic ties with India as well as has
a big economy over the long term and it is a better prospect for Education and
work. The education system in Australia is identical to Indian education system
procedures as for undergraduate students it requires 12 years of study and for post-
graduate it require 15 years of education which is ideal for Indian Students.
In Australia I will get globally accepted degree which will be valid all over the world
and cost of living and other expenses are quite affordable as compare to USA and
UK as in USA currency is quite high i.e. 1USD = (80 INR) and in UK 1 pound= (97 INR)
and whereas in Australia currency rate is 1 AUD = (56 INR).
Tuition Protection System: Australia also introduces a system to halt the fraud in
the fees and payment with international students by Tuition protection system.
Affordable:It is also one of the most political and economic stable countries and
Australia offers the highest standard of living and that too at very affordable prices
(living expenses $21041 per year).

to develop myself as a professional back my home country.
After completing my PSW visa I will return back to my home country India as it
would be a long time that I will spend without my family so I will return back to my
motherland to be with my family.
It’s my prime responsibility to look after my family. Moreover the International
diploma will open up the variety of career opportunities for me and I feel that I will
get placed into well renowned and well established public, private and
governmental organizations as Oberoi Group of Hotels, Sarovar Park Group of
Hotels, Jaypee Group of Hotels, Le Meridien Group of Hotels and Taj Group of
Hotels and more with the salary package of around INR 8 lacks to INR 9 lacks
annually.
My economic circumstances are very strong in India, I want quality of education and
therefore I had applied for Australian student visa, being the son comes with lot of
responsibility. My parents have worked hard to provide quality education to me and
once I have finished my studies, it will be my responsibility to build my career and
look after them.
One of the biggest advantage to live in a family is that there is a big sense of
familiarity. More than that , my roots are in India and I am very attached to my roots
,which is one of the main reason that I will preferring to come back to my mother
country after accomplishment of my degree .On the top my parents are residing in
India , which allures me to have an internal settlement only in India . I have very
great relation with my parents and especially with my mother as she is always act as
pillar of strength and supported me in my every decision.
Also, I will abide all the rules and regulations of Australia as well as of my college
that are mentioned under visa subclass 500 in the official website that is
www.homeaffairs.gov.ausuch as:
I have to maintain a regular health insurance until my visa expires.
I cannot change my education provider before 12 months.
I am allowed to work 40 hrs. Per fortnight during my course.
I am not allowed to work before the commencement date of my course.
I have to inform my education provider or DIBP if I change my residential
address within 7 working days.
