    1. Can Philippines rely on its own economy? Explain.

    We can actually, the Philippines are so good in terms of resources but the people who
    live here don’t know how to use it properly.
    The Philippines is good but the system is not.

    But if I am the President!!

    2. If you were the President of the Philippines what are your plans to eradicate poverty?
    Educational and mindset reprogramming
    To enhance the quality of education I will Implement to focus on teaching young student
    starting from kindergarten up to higher grade levels to learn actual education that gives
    them practical skills that are useful to their everyday life. By applying this technique we
    can create a different generation of a typical Filipino, this makes students more
    Physically active and makes them develop good characteristics such as consistency,
    perseverance, determination and patience that help them to succeed in life.
    To reprogram the mindset of a typical Pilipino, I will encourage our society to teach our
    younger members to become more mentally aware to our environment and build good
    self-esteem, this helps students to their Psychological status, it may lead them to be
    more ethical, moral reprehensible and also at the young age they will know their values
    and goals in their life.
    Approach:
    Practical education.
    I will sagest to use the Chinese and Japanese academic systems as a basis or
    reference for the academic educational method of our country, because for me I see a
    good potential if we adopt of what they do.

    Taxes & Inflation


    To solve the problem of high inflation rates, I will sagest to make changes in our political
    system specifically in terms of sectors that we have in our system, taking all basic
    needs of our society into the public sector will positively decrease the high inflation rate
    and also minimize the taxation rate of our country. What I mean is if the government put
    all this business “electricity, water supply, transportation and crude oil” in the public
    sector it would help our government to gain more budget, imagine if the government
    earned ₱100 for the business that they have control rather than earning ₱25 or equal to
    %25 of residents taxes payment, by taking taxes from business owners who earned
    ₱100 or equal to %100 solid income. It will be much easier to gain funds for the
    development of our country, and also it is much easier to manipulate the price of the
    product depends on what communities demand, because of that the government can
    lower the taxes of our country.
    Approach:
    Taking all basic needs of our country into the public sector.
    Ex: Instead of forcing jeepney drivers to buy modern jeeps that they can’t afford why not
    the government buy many modern jeeps and establish a transport business that is
    based on the public sector and handling all transport lines all over the Philippines?
