of cracked teeth after
endodontic treatment
METHOD
A total of 3680 patient who received endodontic treatment by an advanced postdoctoral

education program in endodentics with follow-up records of at least 1 year were asserted.
From this sample, 62 patient met the inclusion criteria and were included in the final
analysis. The factors beings evaluated included demographics, clinical symptoms and sign,
radiographic finding, and restoration type. Statistics analysis was then completed using the
chi-square and fisher exact tests.
THEORY
The American Association of endodontics defines five type of tooth fracture. CRAZE LINE,
FRACTURED CUSP, CRACKED TEETH ,SPLIT TEETH and VERTICAL ROOT FRACTURE .

RESULT
62 sample met the inclusion criteria and were included in the study. The mean age of the collected sample
was 51 year old consisting of 27 men and 35 women. The most commonly observed teeth were molar 85%.

SUMMARY
Although a crack has a negative impact on root canal treated teeth, the
endodontic treated teeth with definitive full coverage restoration had a
promising two year success rate
