establishing a list of permitted health claims made on foods, other
than those referring to the reduction of disease risk and to
children’s development and health

Article 1
Permitted health claims

1. The list of health claims which may be made on foods, as referred


to in Article 13(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006, is set out in the
Annex to this Regulation.
2. Health claims referred to in paragraph 1 may be made on foods in
compliance with the conditions set out in the Annex.

Article 2
Entry into force and application

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following
that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
It shall apply from 14 December 2012.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in
all Member States.
