PART I
Title of Activity: Festival of Talents 2024

Date: March 20, 2024
Venue: Pamatawan Integrated School
Objectives:
a. Evaluate progress toward the goals set during the previous performance
review.
b. Identify any challenges or obstacles that may have affected goal
achievement.
c. Provide constructive feedback on the employee's performance,
highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
d. Recognize and acknowledge achievements and contributions made by the
employee.
e. Develop action plans to address any performance gaps or areas needing
improvement.
f. Set clear expectations and provide guidance on how to meet performance
standards.
g. Discuss any challenges or obstacles the employee is facing in their role.
h. Collaboratively identify solutions and strategies to overcome challenges.
i. Maintain a record of the employee's performance throughout the year for
future reference.
j. Use the mid-year review as an opportunity to update documentation
related to performance.
k. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and strategies for
performance management.
l. Identify areas for improvement in the performance review process itself.

Seminar and Simulation on Fire Drill SY 2023-2024
Date: March 20, 2024

Venue: Pamatawan Integrated School
Time: 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
Relative to DM No. 151, s. 2024 “2024 Division Festival of Talents (DFOT)",

this Office thru the Curriculum Implementation Division informs the field of the
additional provision of the said memorandum. The list of Technical Working Groups (TWG),
Contest Administrators, judges and Activity Matrix is enclosed.
In accordance with Division Memorandum No. 18, s. 2023 entitled

“Conduct of In-Service Training (Inset) For Teachers During The Mid-Year
Performance Review And Evaluation (MPRE)”, Pamatawan Integrated School held
its first day of Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation last January 24,
2024 (Thursday).
2:00 PM - Arrival and Registration
Pamatawan Integrated School teaching force arrived early, greeted with

warm smiles, and signed for an attendance. The atmosphere buzzed with
anticipation and enthusiasm as teachers gathered and the emcees, Teacher Jan
Allyny Ramos and Teacher Arjay Embuscado kick-started the program.
8:30 AM - Opening Program
The program started with a prayer led by Teacher Madelyn Basilio. The roll
call united everyone present, setting the tone for a day of collaboration and
shared purpose. Dr. John M. Abordo, the School Principal, gave his opening
remarks and shared his experiences from the beginning of the school year up to
present. He said that he was quite pressured to become the newly assigned
principal in Pamatawan Integrated school for he knows how hardworking the
teachers of Pamatawan are and at the same time he’s excited to push everyone
more to exceed their limits and brought every teacher their bests for the
learners and to achieve everyone’s goals.
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM - Engaging Sessions
The morning sessions commenced with an engaging discussion, and it

started with the canteen operations, the guidelines and food safety. In line with
this, Teacher Jefrey Reyes discussed the achievements of Gulayan sa Paaralan
and some of his plans for the next quarters of the school year. Followed by the
updates of school forms presented by Teacher Liezel Reyes.

Teacher Rommel Quinsay presented the reading achievements in

elementary level based on the gathered assessment and evaluation of the
advisers from primary and intermediate level. He showed the documentation of
each adviser from elementary level and some strategies that helped the learners
improve their reading skills. Teacher Jenivee Farrales and Teacher Abegail Dela
Cruz presented the achievements of PIS Girl Scouts of the Philippines, Barkada
Kontra Droga, and Sports Organization and the plans they created for the
upcoming quarters. Teacher Katherine Bobis presented the result of Project
TRAIN-UP based on the reading evaluation from the reading advisers from grades
1-6. It showed that there are still non-readers in elementary level specifically in
primary level that needs to be addressed.
12:00 NN - 1:00 PM - Lunch Break
The well-deserved lunch break provided a chance for networking and

informal exchanges, fostering camaraderie among participants.
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Educational Modules
The afternoon sessions were dedicated to presenting the contingency plan

of the school presented by the School DRRM Coordinator, Teacher Shiela Hana C.
Laxa. Followed by the WINS Coordinator, Teacher Marilyn Dela Rosa. She
discussed about the activities they had for the first and second quarter and what
to expect for the upcoming quarters of the school year. Teacher Eric Dumlao
presented the updates with regards to the achievements of School Paper, PIS
Boy Scouts of the Philippines, and some of the organization’s plans for the
impending periods. For the last presenter, Teacher Joy Cristine Delos Santos
handed the session with her presentation of reading achievements of the
students from junior high school. She shared some of her strategies specifically
the previous activity of DepEd, Drop Everything and Read Program (DEAR),
which she used a holistic approach that made her students active at the same
time the activity they had was able to save one of her students that seemed to
be depressed. The student has a thought of taking her life because of personal
problems yet one of the activities they had made her realize that there is more
to life. The student was able to open her problems and the teacher together with
the whole class comforted her and gave her motivation.
5:00 PM - Closing Program
The day culminated in a heartfelt closing program. Dr. John M. Abordo

shared an inspirational message to everyone, touching the hearts and minds of
all the teachers inside the venue. A pleasant photo opportunity caught the sense
of unity and determination that characterized the day's events.
