    SUBJECT : Progress Report re: Stabbing Incident that resulted to


    the death of MARCELO PINEDA Y HIDALGO

    DATE : October 30, 2024

    1. References :
    a. Memorandum spot report re: stabbing incident that resulted to the death of
    MAR TELYO y PAKO; and

    b. Police Blotter entry no. 05524 dated October 30, 2024.

    2. Above reference pertains to the stabbing incident that transpired on October 30,
    2024 at about 10:00 o’clock in the morning, a certain Denisse Pineda y Gacutan,
    29, married, housewife of Brgy. Pinasling Gerona, Tarlac personally appeared
    before this office to report a stabbing incident involving her Marcelo Pineda y
    Hidalgo, 35, married, construction worker, Brgy. Pinasling Gerona, Tarlac as the
    victim and Angleo Justin Paez y Taon, 32, Single, construction worker, Brgy.
    Pinasling Gerona, Tarlac. The victim was declared dead on arrival at the Pecho
    General Hospital, Brgy San Agustin, Gerona, Tarlac. During Investigation and
    follow-up operation the suspect was arrested after the incident and he is now
    under the custody of this Office for proper disposition.

    3. Investigation conducted by this Office disclosed that the motive of the incident
    emanated from an old grudge/misunderstanding between them wherein the
    victim was threatened to kill by the suspect at any opportune time. This office
    invited two (2) vital witnesses to shed light in this particular incident.

    4. A case of murder is being prepared by this Office for filing in court against the
    suspect. Any development re this case will be submitted to that Office as soon as
    obtained.
