United States of America — (USA) is a federal
constitutional republic composed of 50 states and a
federal district. Most of the country is located in the
central region of North America, formed by 48
states and the District of Columbia, the federal
district of the capital. Bathed by the Pacific and
Atlantic oceans, it borders Canada to the north and
Mexico to the south. The country has several other
territories in the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean.
With 9.37 million km² of area and a population of
over 330 million inhabitants, the country is the
fourth largest in total area, the fifth largest in
contiguous area and the third largest in population.
The United States is one of the most multicultural
and ethnically diverse nations in the world, the
product of strong immigration from many countries.
Washington is the capital and federal district of the
United States. The city of Washington and the
District of Columbia are coextensive with each
other, governed by a single government, unique in
the country, and for this reason, they are commonly
considered to be the same administrative entity.
The United States dollar, also known as the
American dollar, is the official currency of the
United States and is used worldwide, both as
international reserves and in free circulation in
some countries. Its issuance is currently controlled
by the United States Federal Reserve.
The official language of the United States is English,
which is widely spoken throughout the country.
However, there is no official language at the federal
level. Spanish is the second most widely spoken
language.

become a staple in the U.S., with many regional
styles like New York-style thin crust and Chicago
deep dish. It's widely enjoyed and comes in endless
varieties.

3. Hot Dogs: Another American favorite, especially

at sporting events and barbecues. Hot dogs are
simple yet versatile, often topped with mustard,
ketchup, onions, chili, or relish.

by the United States Census Bureau in November
2020 at 331,449,281 inhabitants, including 11.2

The United States was founded by the thirteen
colonies of the British Empire located along its
Atlantic coast. On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of
Independence was issued, proclaiming their right to
self-determination and the creation of a cooperative
