2.1 Product description

Description

With KUKA.Sim you can simulate your system concepts and program
KUKA robots offline. The product enables easy robot programming, the
generation of KRL robot programs and exact cycle time analyses (from

2.2 Component library

The KUKA.Sim component library is a local database that contains over

1,000 typical layout components (robots, grippers, fences, etc.) for
KUKA.Sim.
The initial transfer and continuous updating of the local KUKA components
(e.g. new robot types) are carried out automatically as soon as the com-
puter is connected to the Internet.

2.3 Intended use and misuse

Use

The KUKA.Sim software is used for creating 3D layouts with KUKA robots
and also for the offline programming of KUKA robots.

Misuse
