This paper consists of TWO sections A and B.

Answer ALL the questions in section A and B.

Questions in section A must be answered in A4 drawing papers provided.

Questions in sections B and C should be answered on the A3 drawing papers provided.

All dimensions are in millimeters unless otherwise stated.

Candidates may be penalized for not following the instructions given in this paper.

SECTION A (50 marks)

11. Figure 7 shows parts of a swivel joint drawn in first angle projection. Assemble the parts and draw full
size the following views in third angle projection:

(a) Sectional front elevation along the cutting plane x-x

(b) Plan in first angle projection.

12. A wheel of 52 mm diameter rolls without slipping along a straight path A B. Plot the locus of
point ‘P’ on the rim of the of the wheel for one and a half revolution of the wheel along the path(15
marks)

13. Two views of a block are shown in fig 6 below. Use the template given to draw the figure in one
point perspective. (15 marks)

14. Figure 5 below shows a block drawn in oblique. (15 marks)
