Fi'il mudhori mudhoaf is a type of fi'il mudhori (present tense verb) in which the ain fiil and lam

fiil
are i and bear a shaddah (‫ )ّـ‬on them, will be pronounced twice. This means that the middle and last
letters of the verb are the same. For example, the fi'il mudhori mudhoaf for the verb to think is
‫َيُظُّن‬. The second and third letter are nun and nun, which are the same.
Fi'il mudhori mudhoaf verbs are formed by doubling the letter ain fiil and lam fiil. In the example
above, the middle root consonant is nun, so it is doubled to become nun bear a shaddah. The fi'il
mudhori mudhoaf is then formed by adding the appropriate vowel pattern and ending to the
doubled consonant.
