KEY MEASURES FOR YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY AT OUR VISA APPLICATION CENTRES
Our Visa Application Centres follow the highest health and safety standards based on the guidelines from WHO and local health
authorities. We count on your cooperation and strict adherence to ensure a healthy and safe environment for you and our employees.
Your safety is our priority. As part of precautionary measures, customers visiting our Visa Application Centres may be subjected to
body temperature checks to assess their health conditions and required to wear face mask and gloves. Customers exhibiting COVID19
symptoms, including fever (higher than 38 degrees Celsius), cough and difficulty breathing will be allowed to reschedule their
application submission for another day.

Apart from the safety procedures conducted, please note that:

1.Limited number of customers will be allowed inside the Visa Application Center at a time, therefore please ensure you arrive at
your stipulated appointment time.
2.Wearing a mask within the Visa Application Centre is mandatory.
3.Customers are requested to complete the Courier formalities as post decision passports will only be returned by courier as
mandated by the Consulate General of France,Bangalore. Applicants will not be permitted to visit the Visa Application Centre for
collection of passport.
Processing Time “Visa applications must be submitted at least 15 calendar days before the expected date of entry into the Schengen
area (unless there is a justified emergency: in this case the consulate may authorize a late submission)” Security Regulations
Kindly Refer to Security Regulations on our Website: For security reasons the following items will not be permitted inside the
Application Centre or stored in the premises:
1.All battery operated or electronic gadgets such as cameras, audio/video cassettes, compact discs, MP3s, floppies, laptops, or portable
music players.
2.Travel bags, briefcases, suitcases, leather, jute or cloth bags and zip folders. Only a bag/envelope containing your application related
papers would be permitted.
3. Sealed envelopes or packages.
4. Any inflammable item such as matchboxes/ lighters/ fuel etc.
5. Any sharp objects such as scissors, pen knives or nail filers.
6. Weapon or weapon like objects or explosive material of any kind.
The list provided above is not finite. Other items may be prohibited based on security staff discretion.

Courier Service
Get the passports delivered at your doorstep for an additional fee per Passport (inclusive of Service tax).Courier charges are non
refundable. The courier charges are in addition to the visa application fee and VFS service charges.
Prime Time Service
Apply for your visa outside of regular working days! Prime time appointment bookings allow customer s to make an appointment
outside the normal working hours, at an additional cost for each appointment. These charges are in addition to the visa application fee
and VFS service charges.
Premium Service Lounge
Separate lounge with personalized service by dedicated staff, refreshments, faster submission at the VAC and inclusive of courier and

photocopying as complimentary services. The Lounge charges are in addition to the visa application fee and VFS service charges.
Prime Time Submission
We are extending our working hours during Saturdays from 9:00am till 4:00pm for your convenience. Please note that applications
accepted during extended hours are accepted with additional charges.

On Demand Mobile Visa Service
A well trained and professional team from VFS Global will visit you at the location of your choice to collect your biometrics data and
visa application.
Important notes:
1.Your visa application will be processed and decided upon by the Consulate General of France in Bangalore. Use of the Premium
Service Lounge has no impact onthe processing time of your application. All customers will be required to follow the instructions on
how to apply for a visa, which can be found on our website: http://www.vfs-france.co.in/index.html

2.Please note appointment timing is given for you to report at the application centre. Customer s will be issued with a token number
at the Application Centre and will be entertained as per the token number assigned. It may take more time depending on the number
of applications submitted at the counter by an individual.
Parking Information:
Please note, parking facilities are not provided for customer’s/visitor’s vehicles in the building compound of the VFS Global Visa
pplication Centre located in Bangalore, at Global Tech Park. We advise customers`/visitors` to make transportation arrangements
acordingly.

Valet services are provided outside the building gate by TESKA Technologies Private Limited (SKA). You may avail the valet
service, at your own risk. VFS Global is not responsible for any damages incurred.
