my kumon portal FAQ for parents
Frequently asked questions regarding myKumon Portal including how to register and what information is being
displayed is shared in this document.
Parents with multiple children only need to register once. Complete the registration process by registering with
one of the children’s Student ID. During the registration process you will be asked to create a username and
password. Siblings can be added in the account Settings after the registration process is complete.
• Multiple registration attempts: If you have already registered a child and you receive the message “This
email address is already in use by another account.”, it is because an account has already been created for
one of your children. Students can only be registered in a single account with a single user (email account).
Any siblings must be added through the account Settings.
How long does a parent have access to the portal after they discontinue from the Kumon program?
Discontinued students will lose access to the portal and access to redeem the gift cards after the 8th of the
following month they’re reported as discontinued (D) in all subjects. For example, if a student is only enrolled in
Math and discontinues in May, the portal will no longer be accessible after June 8th.

standards. Details regarding the KIS/ASHR standards can be found under the Achievement section.
How can I see my child’s progress history for longer than the past 6 months?
Please contact your Instructor to discuss any questions you have about your child’s progress.
When will my child move to the next level? Or why has my child been at the same level for X months?
Practice is key in Kumon. Once your child has mastered one concept, they move confidently on to the next. Certain
concepts might warrant more repetition than others for certain students. Learn more about why repetition is so
important in the Kumon Program. For questions about your child’s progress, please reach out to your Instructor.
Kumon Study Challenge Rules can be viewed once you log in to the portal and only display if your child is eligible
