We, the Grade 9 students of Science Technology and Engineering Program will conduct a research study,
entitled "Chemical Profilimg and Repellent Activity of Multi-Herbal Liniment Oil Against Mosquito”
which is a partial fulfilment for Research III. We believe it will greatly benefit our understanding on the
Lemongrass and Coconut Oil as Potent Anti Brown Dog Tick. The timeline of our conduction is from
second quarter to third quarter.
With this, may we ask your good office to allow us to go out and visit Department of Science and
Technology – CARAGA (DOST), Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, this aims to establish a collaborative
partnership between our school and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) – CARAGA to
ensure the success of our project. We want to assure you that our visit will be entirely educational and
closely supervised by our teachers and parents.

We are Grade 10 students from Trento National High School and currently working on our research project entitled .
“Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus)" and Coconut (Cocos nucifera) Oil as Potent Anti Brownd Dog Tick “,
which is a partial fulfilment for Research IV. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Lemongrass extract and
Coconut Oil as Potent Anti Brown Dog Tick. We would like to conduct our study from second quarter to third quarter.
We believe that your expertise and resources at the Department of the Agriculture - Trento Research and Experiment
Station, Poblacion, Trento, Agusan del Sur, would be invaluable in helping us carry out comprehensive tests and
analysis.
In line with this, we would like to request your good office to allow us to immerse and use your laboratory facilities
for thorough investigation and improve our knowledge and skills. We are confident that your guidance and support in
this endeavor would greatly enhance the quality and reliability of our research findings.
