MULTIVIEW DRAWING
INSTRUCTION
UNLESS otherwise stated, the solutions to the following problems are to be drawn in full size. First or Third Angle projection is to be
used as required by the question.
1. Bolster block
A pictorial view of a bolster block is shown in Figure 1. Draw the following views in First Angle projection:
a. A front elevation, viewing the part in the direction of the arrow.
b. A plan projected from the front elevation.
c. An end view positioned on the right of the front elevation. Show all hidden detail.
2. Fulcrum support
Using the pictorial view of this detail shown Figure 2, draw the following views in Third Angle projection, showing all hidden
detail:
a. A front elevation, viewing the detail in the direction of the arrow.
b. A plan projected from the front elevation.
c. Both end views.
3. Locating bracket
A pictorial view of a locating bracket is given on Figure 3. Draw in First Angle projection the following views, showing all
hidden detail:
a. A front elevation, viewing the part in the direction of the arrow.
b. A plan projected from the front elevation.
c. An end view positioned on the left of the front elevation.
4. Spigot
The pictorially detail is given on Figure 4. Draw the following views with hidden detail in Third Angle projection:
a. A front elevation looking in the direction of the arrow.
b. A plan projected from the elevation.
c. An end view positioned on the right of the front elevation.
5. The pictorially detail of an object is given on Figure 5. Draw the following views with hidden detail in First Angle projection:
a. A front elevation looking in the direction of the arrow.
b. A plan projected from the elevation.
c. An end view positioned on the right of the front elevation.
6. Angle bracket
This detail is shown by a pictorial view on
figure 6. Draw the following views in
Third Angle projection, with all hidden
detail:
a. A front elevation obtained by viewing
the detail in the direction of arrow Y.
b. A plan view projected from the front
elevation.
c. An end view obtained by viewing the
detail in the direction of arrow X
