    Assignment

     Install and troubleshoot system hardware

    Assignment Guidelines
     Configure the latest version of Zimbra mail server in a Linux OS(Install CentOS® in a
    VMware®) and the Zimbra mail client in another Linux OS
     You should configure Zimbra Server and Evolution.
     To configure Zimbra Server, you MUST install and configure the other services such
    as: DNS, DHCP and all other relevant servers.
    E.g.
    DNS MX record for the server configuration

    Assignment Information
    *This is an individual Assignment

     You need to compile a detailed report on the steps concepts involved in the process
    including troubleshooting or debugging mechanisms included. Make sure that you
    include screenshots of all the steps or configuration involved.
     Use the “Cover page” uploaded to the coursweb as the first page and change your details
    in correct placeholders before uploading your report to the link provided.
     Preferred to use virtual machines (VMware) to install your servers and client machines.

     Your installation and configuration can be done at your home.
     You can follow any material to install and configure Zimbra server.
     You have to bring all your virtual machines to the presentation and you have to setup
    those machines in your allocated lab session before the presentation.
     All scenarios and configuration flows will be questioning during the time of presentation.
     All should be stick to the time allocated to you
     A viva session will be carried out to evaluate the configurations that has being done.
    o In the viva session you have to demonstrate the following
    • In the client machines you have to configure the Evolution in order to
    communicate with the Zimbra mail server and should be able to send the
    mails to recipients using the Evolution.
    • Send Inter LAN mails (send mails with in the same domain) would be
    sufficient to the demonstration.
    • You should be able to send mails in all possible ways as possible. You
    should think about client redundancy.
    o Important: You should aware regarding the important theory concepts of
    cache replacement policies and web caching.
    o You should remember the important configuration directives that you have
    used
