 Involved in chemical and elemental analysis of portable water, rock materials using wet
chemistry and instrumental techniques.
 Involved in the analysis of stack and flue gas emissions, and ambient air analysis
 Learnt on how to conduct various analyses using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, GC-
FID, UV spectrophotometer, Hazz Scanner, XRD, pH meter, Combustion analyzer, and DR-
3900 spectrophotometer.
 Involved in growth and culture of bacteria growth medias such as glucose media, XLD media
and Yeast media.
 Learnt how to do Total Viable Counts for bacteria.

APEX STEEL LIMITED- Industrial Trainee (Material Scientist) - May 2024 – Sep 2024
 Involved in Analysis of Steel Products by analyzing their material qualities such as; tensile
strength of the bars, yield stress and young modulus test using a Universal Testing Machine
(UTE 100 model).
 Involved in steel bar, ingots and billets analysis using Spectro Maxx (Spark OES) to find out
the chemical and elemental composition of bars and giving appropriate quantity mixture
before production.
 Understood the chemistry of Carbon Equivalent and its mathematical equation as well as its
importance in Chemical analysis of steel metal.
 Reporting and data analysis using UTM software. Data entry and reporting for the Spark
OES software.
 learnt the importance and company’s safety protocols as well as proper and good
housekeeping practices.
