Under the ambit of the Sabah State Government,


the 1600-hectares SOGIP site is expected to

RM20 Billion for job opportunities mentioned
above.
The availability of natural gas as feedstock from
Sabah's offshore production facilities was one of
the many attractive proposals that enabled
SOGIP to be well positioned to spearhead the
development of oil and gas industry in the state.

Demand of houses will increase as population in Sipitang will increase and the town will be an industrial area, set to
become one of the Sabah's Oil and Gas industrial centre following with the government's decision to build a world class
intergrated industrial park designated for oil and gas related, and other heavy industries through industrial clustering.

SOGIP, Sipitang will be in the eyes of the nation along a government intervention to ensure economic growth by oil and
gas related investment, thus creating a potential to create 30, 000 job opportunities has already sufficient enough to
attract local and foreign oil and gas investors to scout possible investment opportunities on the site.
